Simple, convenient and economic hotel. Great location to travel inside and outside London; near Victoria to take the train, the underground or a coach. Everything was as expected and the staff was very helpful.

Great budget stay for a short London visit. Basic room was a bit worn out and small but fitted 2 small suitcases ok and provided a comfortable sleep. Excellent location near Victoria station and some of Londons sightseeing (Big ben, London Eye etc) in walking distance. Breakfast was basic also but a nice bonus all the same concidering a lot... Stayed 2 nights. Pros: One Indian and a blonde woman receptionist - very nice and helpful people. The Egyptian receptionist said he had no way to weigh the lugguage. And gave us a room on the lower floor though we wanted on the ground level as had 4 huge bags. The India guy really helped us get bags up and... More

Located in the middle of victoria station and pimlico station, around 7 minutes walking from each one of them. Arrived at 10 am, room wasn't ready yet (check in from 14pm) but free luggage storage. Room bigger than we expected, clean and decent bathroom. Free wifi included with good speed. Breakfast also included, croissant, toast, cereals, coffe/tea/milk/orange juice. Payed 140... More

I chose this hotel based on the reviews here and on the Bookings site. It is walking distance to VICTORIA station so was easy to get to with cases, and of course we could also get about on the tube easily from here. This a great location. The room was of adequate size and clean. The staff on the front... More

This lovely old building is showing the signs of a total lack of interest by its owner and indeed its staff! Stuffy shoe box room with grubby furniture, carpets and walls. A breakfast served in silence by two rude girls who would hardly say good morning and silent guests due to no music, radio etc. The last morning we skipped... More

I've been in about 100 hotels in my life... this is, by far, the worst one ever. I didn't get a shower because the bathroom was nauseating. The bed sheets were not clean, I had to buy a pijama since I didn't dare to enter "there". Temperature inside rooms were really cold (sleeping with 3 blankets). Plastic cups for bathroom,... More

The walls were dirty and marked, the decor old and tired. The staff were OK, if they could understand you. Minimum levels of English need to be addressed. I made a mistake on the booking, on booking.com I put in the wrong dates. When I got to the hotel, they would not change the dates, nor would they refund. I... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
