Look it's not the Ritz, but the staff welcome was as good as. Should you be looking for a budget hotel for either work or play its basic but it's clean, great location, local to attractions and restaurants / pubs abound, look no further.

Most nice, friendly and helpful stuff. Pleasant decor, clean, good service. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and Pimlico tube station in 5 minutes of walking. There are cafes and supermarkets. Not far from Tate Britain Museum and other interesting places, especially in Westminster area. Not rich but definitely sufficient continental breakfast. And again, very nice... More

We stayed one night at the Hotel and it was very pleasant. Great location and friendly staff. We were offered a quiet room facing the back but preferred the one facing the street with a balcony. The room was clean and not too small, short walk to 2 subway stations and just 15 min from the Buckingham Palace. Just be... More

After reading the reviews and looking on the website, we decided to book this hotel for NYE. You cannot fault the location of this hotel. It was a lovely, quiet area that still had restaurants, shops etc and a short distance from Central London. However, the hotel itself we were not impressed. We booked a twin bed room and got... The reviews are mixed for this hotel but lets face it in London you are not going to get big rooms and all the frills unless you pay about £300 a night. I wanted somewhere clean and near the office that would not break the bank. I have paid far more for a hotel with smaller rooms and not as... More

I had read the reviews on Late Rooms and was sceptical. However, I had to put it in context. I did a last minute booking and still got a single room for less than £50 mid-week. The receptionist was polite and I was informed on my arrival that breakfast was included. However, I had to be up and out by... More

Take two separate beds if two people are planning to stay in this hotel. Their one bed for two is fit just for two children. There is no way to put an extra cot because rooms are tiny. Good location, but bathroom is moldy and just one hand towel is available for two people. Bring your own lotion and hair... More

Grate location near Victoria Station and good value for London. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and was ok. Enjoyed the stay as it is close to pubs, restaurants and the station.

The Victor Hotel is located within 20 minutes walking distance to some of London's major attractions. Buckingham Place, London Eye, Victoria Station, etc. In addition there are wonderful restaurants around the corner. The staff at the fron desk were great. Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
