Was a very busy weekend in London - so not much choice and prices high. This was clean and comfortable - let us check in early, couldn't leave cases the next day, so had to carry them all day, would use again if needed.

Considering this is university accommodation, it was fine in terms of value for money. The room was basic and clean. Check in took absolutely ages due to the sheer volume of people queuing up but also because it took a while to find the right building to go to! Excellent location for the tube. Breakfast was dire. The walk to... More

I stayed here a few years ago and decided to revisit. The rooms are dorm rooms - so small and no frills, but clean and we had booked with ensuite bathrooms. The location is great - just a 5 min walk from the tube and you can take a direct line from Heathrow. There are a ton of free museums... More

Stayed at the Prince's Gardens from 5th Sep till the 8th Sept. On arrival faced with long queue ,but was dealt with quick. As a disabled guest I was given a key card in the next building on the mezzanine floor. The room was spotless, plenty of wardrobe space ( just 6 coathangers). Very clean bathroom with a small showe,... More

It's a bit of a walk from Sough Kensington tube station but the directions on their website are spot on. Check in was quick and friendly. You are given a key card to enter your building (mine was the very modern Wilkinson building) and then your room. The room was small but bright and very clean. There is heaps of... More

I stayed at this hotel two times last year on August and September 2013. The position is the main reason why I chose this hotel and I have to say that the breakfast is good two. Now let's mention the problems : 1) they use to take the full amount of the reservation even if you didn't chose the prepaid... More

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights Friday and Saturday night 25th July - 27th July. It was simple to find as we got off the coach at Victoria station so was about a mile an a half away. We checked in and the staff were so polite and helpful explained where everything was etc. the room was... More

After doing a little research we decided to try Prince's Gardens for a three day stay 08/28/13 to 08/31/13. Given the fact that Prince's Gardens is part of the campus of Imperial College we did not know what to expect. The rooms are student rooms which become hotel rooms when school is not in session. To say we were pleasantly... More

My daughter and I visited London this summer and stayed in the the summer accommodation in Imperial College for 3 nights. We were delighted with our stay, €70 for a twin en-suite room and breakfast per night beside Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, Harrods and the Victoria and Albert Museum, it was amazing value and dare I say it, in... Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
