After all the negative comments on here about Victoria Apartments, I still went ahead and booked to stay here. I am glad I did, as it really isn't bad (unless I got super lucky). Originally booked through booking.com it was very clear which apartments would be shared and which would not. I chose the superior studio at a cost of... More

This is run by a company who owns a few different apartments. When you first arrive, you go to the office (which is the address listed) to get the keys. You then receive the address for your apartment. Luckily ours was only about 4 doors up from the apartment but other people have complained that theirs was blocks away. The... More

Our family stayed at the Winchester st apartment for a week and were disappointed from beginning to end. Of course the apartment doesn't look anywhere near as good as the photos, surprise, surprise.. We can live with places being smaller than they look in pics but I can't cope with grubby, squeaky, under stocked, leaking places where the landlords are... More

I booked this apartment for two night on the 9 to the 11 of November 2013. Well it was as trying as hell. it looked Nothing like the pictures on the website. The studio apartment was a small room with a bed and a fitted kitchen to the wall no space to move. From the outside it's the worst building... More

I got completely misled by the way this "apartment" at 89 Wilton Road was sold (I used Booking.com as usual). Here are my complaints: 1. All you find at 89 Wilton Rd is a small office where you are dipatched an apartment "somewhere around Victoria" and given the keys. Luckily for me the apartment I was allocated was only 50... More

I booked a room for my cousin from Central America and she was absolutely horrified when she arrived. She was sent to an ex-council two-bedroom flat and a strange man was already there in the other bedroom, which is an entirely unsafe experience and she was scared. She couldn't lock her bedroom door properly and the bathroom lock was insecure.... More

I really wish Trip Advisor would allow less then a 1 star rating. If there was ever a hotel/appartment that deserved 0, its this place. It is simply unbelievable that they are allowed to rent out a place such as this. Shame, Shame, Shame on them. Everything they advertise is simply a lie. So we arrived at the address we... More

Myself & my son came to London to see the sights! On getting outlr room keys we had a trek to the apartments, not to be told we could of caught the tube to pimlico to save the journey with lots of bags! On getting to the apartment did we realise that it was actually a shared apartment! We had... More

This is the second time I've rented an apartment from here, this time with my Mum and I have to say that getting what the pictures show is like a lottery. This time round I certainly didn't win the lottery. The location is central with amenities (restaurant, kiosk, supermarket, bank, post office etc.). The staff at the offices where you... More

The location in Pimlico is good, being close to some great little places to eat, and within easy walking distance to shops and attractions. However, the front entrance and hallway are decidedly scruffy and worn, with what was suspiciously like a large vomit stain on the nasty carpet. The room was clean and newly decorated, as was the bathroom with... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
