We were very happy with our stay at the Jesmond hotel. We had a pleasant quiet room overlooking the pretty garden. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. A delicious cooked English breakfast, with fresh fruit and cereal was served in a basement dining room with newspapers, books, computer and 24 hour tea and... More

Only stay here if you can specifically book rooms 3, 4, 8, 12, or 12a. These are the rooms that do not front Gower Street. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the breakfast awesome and customizable - everything from the "full English" to just toast and tea or (drinkable!) drip coffee. The rooms... More

Five of us from Australia stayed in The Jesmond for 5 nights in July 2014 in 2 doubles and a single room. The rooms are small (and the en-suites very small),and because of unseasonally hot weather in London, quite hot because of the lack of air conditioning, however we all had access to fans and open windows so that complication was soon... I stayed at the Jesmond Hotel this past May on an 8 day vacation to London. Before I booked I went to countless travel sites, read tons of reviews and finally settled on Jesmond after I read about it in a guidebook I bought for the trip. This was the best-rated hotel I found, including those with more stars. I... More

This is a great little hotel in Bloomsbury. No lifts but good clean simple rooms and excellent breakfast facilities. Also a great little garden at the rear. The only minor issue and nothing really to do with the hotel itself is it is noisy. Gower Street is a one-way busy thoroughfare and it can be difficult to adjust to sleeping... More

We found this hotel to be ideal for our needs. Located in Bloomsbury with easy access to several tube stations, British Museum, West End, Euston and St. Pancras (Eurostar) rail stations. Taxis and buses were also plentiful right outside the hotel's door. Our family of 5 stayed in a single "quint" room with en suite bath. As expected, the room... More

My brother and his son stayed here while visiting us in London. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, fabulous location and a gorgeous garden make this b&b a great alternative to all the chain hotels in the area.

We had stayed 5 nights in July, with our three children. Room #10 was specious for our children and room #8 was cozy and quiet in front of garden. Owners and staffs are very friendly and we could spend lovely holidays. Rooms are simple but clean and hotel is situated in great location. 大英博物館や大学に近い便利で治安のよいロケーションにあります。オーナーやスタッフがとても親切で、気持ちのよい滞在ができました。部屋はいたってシンプルですが、清潔です。中庭に面した部屋の方が静かでお勧めです。

We travelled as a group of 5 adults and spent 3 nights at the Jesmond Hotel. The hotel has a very good location - walking distance to all important sights and the tube. It was reasonably furnished and very clean. We had an en suite room, but the shared bathroom facilities we saw seemed most reasonable and clean. The staff... More

We are a family of 3 and had a 12 night stay in #17 with ensuite bathroom on the basement level. Room size was adequate for the 3 of us, spotlessly clean with a great shower. Although #17 doesn't offer a view it is quietly situated at the back of the hotel with the lovely little garden area above. Glyn... More
