We found this hotel to be relatively cheaper than most London accommodations and the hot breakfast included was a good and appreciated added value for us. The room was obviously a bit dated but tidy. The bathroom was super tiny but very, very clean. The hotel is on a street parallel to a busier street with lots of shops. There... More

Great people, very good location (near a underground station: Goodge Street) and the rooms are good! Me and my sister went there on January 2014. It was an excellent choice and we enjoyed it very much!

Stayed 6 nights at The Jesmond Hotel in the lead up to Christmas 2014. Must say I was enormously impressed with this place. Its location is just great, only minutes walk from the British Museum and close to heaps of transport hubs including buses and a number of Tube lines. The rooms are small...no doubting, but they are cleaned daily... More

The hotel is like an outdated B&B. However, the place is clean, the service is friendly and helpful and overall, it is perfectly adequate for a short stay in central London. Those who want a more upmarket stay in London will have to pay the market price or stay somewhere less central. That's just the way it is. I thought... More

We spent 8 nights at the Jesmond in December 2014. We have been here many times during the last 15 years. I am glad to report that it is still a great place to stay. Very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, big fresh cooked breakfast and wonderful location.

My second one week stay at this hotel, and I was not disappointed by coming back. I had requested the same cosy, tiny room number 3 for its convenient location and I felt instantly at home. Breakfast was lovely as always. As I spent most of my time running around London, the great location was even more important, with easy... More

We stayed here over the USA Thanksgiving Holiday on our boys' school break, we had the quad room with en suite bathroom for 160 GBPs / night, quite a bargain for this part of London! The staff were courteous and efficient, the owner and his mother were helpful with answering questions and arranging a private cab back to LHR the... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on mini break during half term with our 13 year old son. The hotel is perfectly located, 5 mins walk from Euston and easy access to buses and tubes. Staff were very helpful and pollite. Hotel was beautifully clean and warm. Would definitely stay again.

I have stayed at the Jesmond twice now, and it has been very nice both times. The staff are very nice and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good. The rates are very reasonable and the location is perfect. I can heartily recommend it and I will stay there again whenever I have reason to go to... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
