We stayed at The Jesmond last week for a 3 night stay. We were very pleased with our choice, the hotel gives easy access to both underground and bus services. All the staff were very helpful and great to deal with. The hotel was very clean and well presented. The breakfast was plentyful and well cooked and served with a... More

I have stayed at the Jesmond twice now, and it has been very nice both times. The staff are very nice and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good. The rates are very reasonable and the location is perfect. I can heartily recommend it and I will stay there again whenever I have reason to go to... More

I have stayed at the Jesmond Hotel many times both when on business and when I meet with friends in London. It is a very friendly family run bed and breakfast. The rooms are very small but clean and comfortable with TV and free wifi. It is only a stones throw from the British Museum and other sights. The owner... More

I stayed for 7 nights and loved every minute. The staff were helpful, courteous, and good-humoured. The room was clean and comfortable. It was small, but it had everything I needed. The location is superb. I would definitely stay here again (and I hope I can do it soon!). I left some money with the owner for the dining room... More

Comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff, and a superbly cooked breakfast. Close to the West End for theatres, near Tottenham Court Road, for shopping and restaurants, British Museum just up the road, and on many bus routes. Great value for money, and good location. Free wi-fi . Will stay there again soon! Lovely courtyard garden to relax in.

I don't have a review, per se, as I haven't yet stayed at the Jesmond but wanted to comment on the treatment I received from the owner, Glyn. I had attempted to make reservations for my family and with a study abroad group of university students on a separate trip. I have rarely been treated with such courtesy, caring and... More

I recently spend 9 nights at the Jesmond Hotel, at the beginning and end of my 3 week trip to England. It was one of the best value B&Bs that I stayed in while exploring the country. The hotel is conveniently located in Gower St, Bloomsbury, close to the cafes and supermarkets in Tottenham Court Road. It is also close... More

We were very happy with our stay at the Jesmond hotel. We had a pleasant quiet room overlooking the pretty garden. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. A delicious cooked English breakfast, with fresh fruit and cereal was served in a basement dining room with newspapers, books, computer and 24 hour tea and... More

Only stay here if you can specifically book rooms 3, 4, 8, 12, or 12a. These are the rooms that do not front Gower Street. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the breakfast awesome and customizable - everything from the "full English" to just toast and tea or (drinkable!) drip coffee. The rooms... More

Five of us from Australia stayed in The Jesmond for 5 nights in July 2014 in 2 doubles and a single room. The rooms are small (and the en-suites very small),and because of unseasonally hot weather in London, quite hot because of the lack of air conditioning, however we all had access to fans and open windows so that complication was soon...
