My husband and I stayed at the Jesmond September 14-21. We loved it!! The hotel is located in Bloomsbury and is very central to all the major sites. It's actually amidst some of the buildings to the University of London. There was a tube station down the road which we used all the time, and were at our destination in... more

We stayed seven nights from 9/13-19 at the Jesmond. We were very satisfied with our stay. It was quiet and clean. The breakfast area was a pleasure and the food great. We asked a million questions and were patiently answered. The big plus of staying at the Jesmond is it is close enought to walk to Buckingham Palace, the Eye,... more

We recently stayed at the Jesmond after reading the many positive reviews on trip advisor. It certainly lived up to the reviews, we were so pleased with everything, size of room–very comfortable, the exceptional cleanliness, a very nice breakfast and really friendly staff who were so helpful whenever we had questions about places to eat, directions, everything! (Thank you Glynn).... more

I would use two adjectives for the Jesmond hotel: quiet and clean. Our ensuite quad. room # 10 had essential furniture, very small bath, but confortable and clean. The double windows would keep out the street noise, as our room overlooked Gower Street. We usually go to five stars hotels, but this time we needed just a clean place to... more

Jesmond is a great bed and breakfast place ideally located in central London. Me and wife were on vacation in London and stayed at the Jesmond for 10 days. With the Hotel being near to the Euston ( 5 minute walk) and the Rusell Square (6-7 minute walk) Underground, our daily trip to all the sites across London were quite... more

We stayed 17 days at the Jesmond and liked it very much. The owners and staff were all very nice to us. Glynn gave us lots of assistance in finding our way around, and in deciding what to see. We were allowed to pay in installments so we could get cash out of ATM's without exceeding the limits. There were... more

Have recently returned from a second stay in the Jesmond Hotel. Once again, everything represented great value for money. Spotlessly clean, nice breakfast, helpful staff. The location is fantastic, with various tube stations within about 10 minutes walk and plenty of places to eat nearby. This time we had a room in the basement. It was very quiet and the... more

Our experience at the Jesmond exceeded my expectations in every way - particularly given the relatively reasonable price in the expensive London market. The hotel is in a converted older home, but is exceedingly clean. Not a speck of dust in our room, even on the moulding. The breakfast was great, the staff friendly and the location both safe feeling... more

I booked the hotel after having read other reviews on trip advisor, all of them sharing the same enthusiastic rating. I was not disappointed. The room, old styled with even a now unused fireplace but with modern esuite facilities, was very nice, quiet, clean and overlooking a small garden. The hotel provides the guests with a water boiler and tea... more

A friend and I spent a night at the Jesmond Hotel, and it was a decent value given how expensive everything is for Americans in London. My friend and I had a room with two twin beds without bathroom. The hallway shower/toilet were clean if expectedly small, as was the room itself. They leave an electric kettle and tea bags/instant... more
