I spent three nights here. The location is excellent. The tube station (Aldgate East) is located just around the corner from the hotel and a bus stop outside. Great area to explore with Brick Lane a few minutes walking distance. The room was a standard twin, with comfortable beds. Immaculate and serviced each day. Breakfast was excellent, great variety of... More

The hotel respect all the standards of Ibis chain and it is not too expensive. It's situated in a very good position in the city center of London: a few metro stops from Piccadilly Circus (Hotel is at Aldgate East - pink line). If I'll come back to London I will come back here for sure.

Been staying here on average two days a week for past 11 years since it opened, few ups and downs over years but the Abyss as some affectionately call it, has upped her game in recent times. New beds / mattresses big tick, refurbished reception, bar and restaurant all big tick, consistently good, friendly and natural customer service big tick.... More

I stayed here as I was on a training course 10 minutes away, and it was convenient. I must say everything about this hotel impressed. Speedy check in. Comfortable room, spotlessly clean. A very good breakfast buffet. Everything I needed for my 5 days away. Didn't eat in the restaurant in the evenings, but the food looked OK. Close to... More

Price vs quality is almost unbeatable; The hotel is near the Subway station ( Aldgate East)- not far that 200 m. Its location is on the first zone ( in City) at no far than 600 m from the Tower Bridge and Thames River; Also- they have from time to time good offers ( basically I paid 50 % of... More

i personally thought that the staff in the hotel were both friendly and helpful. i also thought that the hotel was very good as it was within a normal 5 minute walk of "aldgate east tube station" and a "tesco express"

Have stayed here several times over the past few months for 1 night at a time. Always find check in and out to be quick and painless. Rooms are clean and although not by any stretch luxurious, they are comfy and meet all your basic needs. More so than the nearest travelodge anyway. Only eaten at the restaurant once for... More

This was our first time staying at an Ibis hotel, so we didn't know what to expect. Overall we were satisfied with our stay, but a few things did surprise us. For 2 people they gave us 3 bath towels but no hand towels or wash cloths. Wash cloths I don't care about, but it would have been nice to... More

This was my first stay in an Ibis hotel, I chose them over Premier Inn (my usual choice) as they had a special offer. I was pleasantly surprised, it compared favourably. The hotel's best feature has to be the location, just around the corner from Aldgate East tube station and in walking distance of all that Shoreditch has to offer... More
