The rooms a basic ibis room, a very comfortable bed and a clean room. The rooms are not very big, but then again you only shower and sleep there. The breakfast had a wide range to choose from, you have the typical "ibis breakfast" and more. They had the actimel, active yoghurts and some red juice, lime juice,... and of... More

I stayed in Ibis London city whilst attending a conference. The location is excellent 2 minutes walk from Aldgate East tube station, or a short 20 minutes walk into the city. You can also easily walk to Aldgate tube in 5 minutes. The hotel reception and bar are done in a funky modern way which is very appealing, with plenty... More

Stayed at the Ibis London City for 3 nights to attend a seminar. Room: Very clean, super comfortable bed, enough space to put clothes, decent TV with loads of channels, pretty quiet despite windows facing a busy street. The bathroom was small and a bit elevated so you had to watch your step. No-frills bathroom equipment, had to plug-in the... More

When my fiancee and I planning our London trip, I wanted to stay in the city centre to save traveling time and fare. This hotel was booked online and the price was quite decent compare to other hotels in the City. The good thing was Ibis allows you to request early check-in by paying a little extra and this is... Absolutely great staff, lovely and clean room with ensuite facilities. Not one to stay in London hotels but after a crazy night out, was forced to enquire about a lastminute room and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Even got free brekkie the following morning. Will recommend to friends when visiting London.

Just came back from London yesterday. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and I must say- I'm impressed. The location is awesome, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Advice- book ahead, we saved about 30% of the original price by booking a month earlier.

We've spent 2 nights in this hotel between April 30th and May 1st, during our annual trip in London. Previous year we've stayed in another Ibis hotel, and as it has been pleasant, we chose one more time an Ibis. The hotel seems to have been renovated few months ago, so the lobby, the bar, and the restaurant are well... More

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighborhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel.
