London is expensive and therefore this could be a compromise hotel. Positives: this hotel is close to tube station so good connectivity. A decent bar and restaurant within the hotel. Negatives: the room had a worned down look. Bathroom is very compact. Just one small soap in the bathroom and heating not effective. Long corridors to reach room and irons... More

This seemed like an average hotel to me. The room was clean and had enough room for all three of us. With the third bed out and luggage for three people for 9 days, it was a bit squishy, but not horrible. Breakfast was good, and the sandwich we had at the bar the first afternoon was yummy, if expensive... More

If you book a room and you want to be sure to have it just book to another place. The overbooking is their policy. We have seen (and read here) MANY other people having the same problem of us. Maximize gains against guests happiness is not the best way to act. Defend reputation is more important than reach short- term... More

Chose this hotel as it is close to the area where a friend lives. The hotel is located closer to the East End than the city, but still easily reachable from St Pancras International. There are signs guiding you to the hotel from the Aldgate East tube station My pleasant surprise was to find a huuge, clean room, in central... More

Stayed 2 nights - my room looked exactly as the pictures you see on TA and was clean and comfortable. Staff all friendly and efficient and spoke good English to me. Air conditioning / heating was fine in my room, as was TV. Bathroom was small but functional. I didn't try the food, there are restaurants everywhere nearby. This is... More

Arrived at the Ibis last weekend to find that one of the rooms we had booked had not gone through even though I had a booking conformation from there website. They then attempted to charge us a higher price for the room. The staff had trouble grasping simple English which is always frustrating. We ordered dinner in the bar and... More

I booked myself and my boyfriend into this Hotel for 2nights 4th november 2011. The hotel is right on the door step to the tube so very easy to get around, although the hotel is not right in the city center, everywhere we wanted to go was 20 mins or less by tube etc. The hotel room was comfy. The... More
