So there are budget hotels and then there is a box. For London the price was good, the room was clean and so was the bedding, the lady at reception was lovely and nothing bad can be said. Except that the room was soooooo small it was ridiculous and surely was a fire risk. Put a window in and add... More

Oddly enough I flew Easyjet back form Moscow to London and it was what I expected from the Easy company. Nothing more, but probably more importantly, nothing less. The flight was delayed and after some adventures getting back from Gatwick I ended up at the Easyhotel in Kensington at daft o'clock. I just crashed out. Now frankly this is what... More

I have stayed in easy hotels before and seems like I was given the smallest room in the place. I had to keep moving my suitcase onto the bed just to move from bed to toilet. I could hear the other rooms, and people in the corridor. I was up on the 4th floor in the attic, with no lift,... More

This place is fantastic, as long as you know what the "easy" brand is all about, low budgets with no thrills. The rooms as advertised are small, really small, they are meant for single or couple occupancy traveling with light luggage (e.g. backpacks, cabin sized bags), and literally just for sleeping. The walls are thin, so hearing people in the... More

Paid £35 to stay for one night and have to say what an absolute bargain it was! For this price you would struggle to get a private room in a hostel. Room was basic and small but not sure what some people expect for the price! All very clean and bed was extremely comfortable! Staff were very friendly. This is... More

If the only thing you need from your hotel is a clean room to sleep in, then this isn't a bad choice: decent location, clean and with very helpful staff. However, the rooms are absolutely miniscule, with (inevitably, given the budget nature) no tea-making, nowhere to sit, and TV only if you pay extra for it: if you need a... More

It is cheap but is ok for a night or two. The room was in the basement and had no window. At least we did not get woken early in the morning by the sun beaming through the curtains! It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable but there was no space on either side so you had to crawl... More

I got the room for £35 for the night for when I was there for a concert and to be honest it did the trick. Yes the room is small and the shower isn't the biggest in the world but to be honest with you if your there just for one night then its ok. You have to pay extra... More

If you can get a room for under £30 with this chain they are worth every penny. If not you should consider a "normal" hotel. I managed to get such a deal at this hotel. The room was so painfully small - the bed fitted in the room which the door open to the bed. There is no room at... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
