I wanted to stay cheap in London so when I booked a single (no window) room at EasyHotel I didn't expect major fancy room. I'm aware to have a small room but the room I had was teenytiny small! I barely had space for my trolley suitcase! The bed itself was not bad actually, very spacious in fact. The bathroom... More

If you manage your expectations, it is ok. The rooms are very small, literally a wall around a bed. Two people can't easily move together in the room! The toilet is also very cramped. Assuming that, if you need the room just to sleep, the price is so convenient to suggest this hotel.

With surfing discounted sites you can find much better accommodation in London than this, its an absolute disgrace. To be charged extra to watch the television is an insult! Even prison cells have more room and natural daylight!!! Believe all the reviews on this place.

Be under no illusion, the room is tiny as is the toilet but aside from that, its fine. If you just need a bed for the night, go for it. The stairs in pretty tough to the third floor and its a bit miserable to have to pay extra for everything including TV and wifi. I stayed for 3 nights... More

Well we knew before we booked that it's a budget hotel and we weren't going to spend much time here. We paid a reasonable price for one night. You get there the staff member (a man on the repetition was so rude because we arrived 10 minutes early to then not let my sister go to the toilet.. He finally... More

This hotel is a nightmare. Traveled as a couple w my gf. easyHotel was recommended by my good friend. We walked in breezily to the hotel. The reception was looking no better than a small company office. Later at night the NIGHTMARE started... Bottom line: Don't even consider easyHotel Kensington. Explanation: first, the WiFi, which you actually pay for, got... More

So there are budget hotels and then there is a box. For London the price was good, the room was clean and so was the bedding, the lady at reception was lovely and nothing bad can be said. Except that the room was soooooo small it was ridiculous and surely was a fire risk. Put a window in and add... More

Oddly enough I flew Easyjet back form Moscow to London and it was what I expected from the Easy company. Nothing more, but probably more importantly, nothing less. The flight was delayed and after some adventures getting back from Gatwick I ended up at the Easyhotel in Kensington at daft o'clock. I just crashed out. Now frankly this is what... More

I have stayed in easy hotels before and seems like I was given the smallest room in the place. I had to keep moving my suitcase onto the bed just to move from bed to toilet. I could hear the other rooms, and people in the corridor. I was up on the 4th floor in the attic, with no lift,... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
