At first glance the external decor of Charlotte Street Hotel is quaint and lovely on the vibrant Charlotte Street. Went there on a Friday night -- it was buzzing but not too loud /noisy -- perfect atmosphere. We even got a nice table with privacy amidst the busy restaurant area. The cocktails: Espresso Martini, the Blueberry special, and Egg White... More

The hotel provides an excellent afternoon tea. I was very impressed when we were received into a private dining room, which was beautifully laid out on arrival. The quality and selection of food was great, although slightly weaker on some of the mini sandwiches provided. The service was extremely attentive, and the price overall was very reasonable.

We wanted afternoon tea, but were keen to avoid the obvious places, (RItz/Savoy etc) as my husband works in Mayfair and gets very fed up of tourist traffic and hectic crowds! We visited at tea time on a Sunday for my birthday, and wanted somewhere smart, but relaxed enough to take along our 4 year old daughter. So glad I... More

Two of us went there solely to have plenty to drink on a warm sunny afternoon! The ambience and atmosphere is charming, but the real plus here are the staff who are very polite, extremely efficient and look immaculate. It is them that for me make the place so attractive. They engage you in a way that is so rare... More

We often go to the Charlotte st. Hotel for drinks and desert after a meal. The drinks selection is the most comprehensive I have ever seen. To sit outside people watching is a delight and the bar lounge is buzzy and alive with the media crowd. There speciality are cocktails which my wife tells me are perfect. The bar snacks... More

Fantastic Fitzrovia location. Stylish, friendly, relaxed. It is so welcoming and comfortable, I'd like to live there! Afternoon tea, hotel rooms, dinner - all really great. Easy to get everywhere from here especially if you're going to the theatre. Highly recommend.

Charlotte Street hotel is the perfect chic boutique hotel with top notch service in a great neighborhood in London. Tons of wonderful pubs and restaurants line the street and it's a easy walk to the tube station. Our room was tastefully decorated If you need anything the front desk is very attentive and delivery to our room was extremely fast.... More

A lovely boutique hotel not far from Oxford Street. Quite location for central London. Friendly staff, lovely room and a very good breakfast. We had the loft suite which was lovely, ground floor sitting room and bathroom with upstairs bedroom. Nice turndown service. Tea and coffee facilities are not available in the bedrooms.

As someone who has spent as many nights in a foreign bed as I do my own in Austin, TX, I have experienced a wide array of accommodations. the Charlotte Street Hotel was a recommendation from my travel agent since the Langham, where I normally stay in London, was charging an excessive rate last week (over $1100 a night). I... More

My husband and I spent our first anniversary last weekend at this amazing hotel. The staff could not be more attentive and helpful plus the upgraded us to a fabulous room. My only criticism would be there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
