We stayed 5 nights and were delighted with the accomodation and facilities. You always approach a budget hotel with some trepidation. It is a description that covers a multitude of experiences, but we have no hesitation in recommending The Amhurst Hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and at home from the moment we arrived . The staff were... more

We enjoyed our time here so much!! Small simple room, clean and proper. Nice neighbourhood. Nice and quiet. I was here with my friend for three nights and we had a blast. The manager was very friendly and helpfull. To be able to sit in the garden and have a chat if you want to is great! I will surely... more

My friend and I stayed here for one night and very much enjoyed our time. The double en suite is simple but clean and in a quiet Jewish neighborhood. For the price, I do not regret one bit staying outside of central London. The location is along the transit line which makes getting downtown easy. Chris, the manager on duty,... more

First of all this hotel is set in the middle of nowhere...a good 15-20 minutes walk from the nearest underground station. The hotel is eerie...reminds me of the movie 'hostel' or even 'vacancy'. The room was dirty, stained, the toilet stank, the curtains stained and the carpet disgusting to walk on. Very scary and uncomfortable maze of rooms. Would not... more

Stayed in a single bed room on the ground floor for two nights. This was an old house that was converted into a guesthouse very cheaply. There is a common shower/toilet on the second floor which were clean. WiFi did not work, there isn't any housekeeping service, and you should bring your own pillowcases since they are not provided and... more

We stayed in a basic en-suite room at the back of the building. Everything was clean and worked fine. Bed was comfortable. The street seemed like a quite residential area to me. The room was a bit tatty, but nothing terrible, and for the price you can't complain really. If you expect the finer things in life you have to... more

Do not under any circumstances stay here!! It was dirty, smelly, noisy, there was blood in the sink, the toilet didn't flush, there no shower, there was a bath but I wouldn't have used it for all the tea in China. We left after one night and booked into a 4 star hotel in Richmond for only £10 a night... more
