Booked this hotel as part of a package for my wife's 40th,on arrival we ordered a pot of tea and a cappuccino, within a few minutes a huge pot of tea came out with just one teabag in and a coffee. We had to ask for additional teabags and didn't have the energy to tell the staff that the coffee... More

Brilliant location . Nice comfy large bed , a sofa and a little table with two chairs. We were at the back of the hotel so it was quiet. Continental breakfast was filling with cheeses, ham, tomatoes ,hard boiled eggs and all the usual cereals etc. Staff were polite and attentive and smiley . Will definitely stay again when in London... More

We stayed at the Clarendon for my hubby's birthday weekend. Staff were very accommodating and held our luggage so we could go off to the show/dinner as our room wasn't ready. The room was clean and bed very comfy. At breakfast the staff were also very polite and customer focused (although we were only continental and the choice wasn't as... More

Couldn't believe how large our bedroom was. It was at least 3 times the size of the rooms in another hotel that I often use in the same area. Staff are friendly and attentive and the location right by the British Musuem is excellent. The price we paid through the company's website was very good value.

stayed at the clarendon on a night out with the wife.service first class, free wi/fi 24hr bar.the room was spacious, clean, very smart.lovley big bathroom, massive double bed, large screen tv,tea making facilities,it was really a first class room,no complaints at all.if there is a downside, internet access down stairs is 3 pounds for 15mins and breakfast is priced at 17.50 each, both seemed pricey, but loved our... This is a very good hotel. It is situated in Bloomsbury, within walking distance of the British Museum, Covent Garden, Oxford Street and a couple of Underground stations - even St Pancras Station, if you don't have a heavy suitcase. It is in a relatively unfrequented street, and with a bedroom at the back overlooking the gardens it is surprisingly... More

One of the best hotel we had stayed at comparing to the price. The staff was very gently and the service level high. We had a room on the top floor and the bed was great. We were satisfied with the breakfast and the different choices they actually present. Regards, Teresa

First visit here and having read the reviews on here - I was a little anxious at what we might find. The hotel itself is in a lovely back street of Bloomsbury. It's very genteel, very quiet - easy links to transport. The room was huge - we were in the basement which gave us a room with the most... More

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the reception area was not the biggest but more than acceptable. Not so enthusiastic about the room however. It took some wandering around to find it, the bed was a bit hard and lumpy, the opening of the kettle cupboard was smaller than the kettle which was therefore awkward to get out, there... More

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
