I travelled to London on a school trip in June of 2015. We stayed at Wigram House and were sad to leave. The rooms were clean and my twin room, shared with another student, was plenty room enough for us both. The view from our 6th floor room was spectacular as we were at the front of the building. Another... More

We stayed here for a family visit to the city and this is a great way to visit London which is far cheaper than hotels. We had two twin rooms which were very clean with shared kitchen and several bathrooms on the floor. The rooms are basic which didn't bother us because we were out all day visiting the sights.... I brought 26 paramedic students from Australia to complete a clinical placement for almost one month with the London Ambulance Service. We all stayed at Wigram House due to its central location to public transport and the tourist sites, but importantly because it was a great value. The rooms were as expected, basic but clean and comfortable university accommodation. The... More

Excellent location right off Victoria Street, 1' walk to Westminster Cathedral in quiet neighbourhood. Victoria underground, railway station and bus stations just over 5' walk away. Various fast food restaurants nearby: Pret á Manger, Mc Donalds, Itsu, ... Sainsbury's and Waitrose supermarkets --for the selfcatering kitchen-- very close by. Shopping centres and theatres minutes away. Shared toilets, showers and acceptably... More

My 17yo daughter and I stayed in Wigram House for four nights in August 2015. I was looking for a cheap place to lay our heads at the end of each busy sightseeing day and that's just what we got. Location couldn't be better - just a 5 min walk from Victoria Station! Such a central location is handy because... More

You can't beat the price for the location. Expect super basic accomodations. You get a towel and a bar of soap. The shared shower is tiny, has little water pressure and no place to put your clothes while you shower. No A/C, no fan, just an opened window. Super tiny room... two beds, a desk, a sink and small closet.... More

I stayed here for a month. Good value in an excellent location. Even with the tube strike London was easily walkable, and you can always catch a train out of town from Victoria, five mins away. I shopped at supermarkets locally and cooked in the kitchens, which it's a huge moneysaver for expensive London. There are some cons to this... More

We stayed here for a week. It's budget accommodation within a beautiful location in Westminster. It won't win any awards for luxury, but if you're looking for budget rooms then it's perfect. We paid £67 per night for a twin room, this included wifi, access to kitchen facilities and TV room. This location was perfect for our needs, if you're... More

Very simple rooms with put me up beds (not level when pushed together), NOT en suite but thankfully no-one else in. Given it's a spit from Victoria this is reasonably priced but is probably the definition of no frills. It looks very nice from the outside but could do with a hug inside!

We stayed at Wigram House, Westminister London, near Victoria Station on July 2015 a day ago. The outside looked great, but looks can be deceiving. The room at Wigram House was absolutely disgusting, we called management about it and showed proof of mold all over the room, soiled carpets and sheets, strong pungent odor that smelled like a dead animal.... Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
