Linen was clean, room was not A/C, but clean. Quite quiet, very low price for London however. Fairly typical of the Camden / Near Kings X places to sleep. Not for tourism, not for long stays. Breakfast included was OK.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. The rooms are definitely smaller that they look in the pictures and the bathrooms could definitely use an update. The shower tiles were horrible and I almost felt the need to wear flip flops in the shower as all the cracks around the tiles were black. The internet worked... More

After reading the reviews for this hotel, we were very nervous of what to expect as a lot of reviewers slated the facilities and service. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We are a family of 4, with two 16 year olds and we needed somewhere to stay before taking an early Eurostar the next day. We paid £130 for our... More

Are the rooms small? Yes they are. They are also very basic and in need of updating. However, the staff were friendly enough, the room had everything we needed for a couple of nights in London. A five minute walk to King's cross station. And in comparison to nearby hotels the price was amazing.... as a Base it was adequate,... More

Stayed here for one night on a Wednesday as I was going to a festival over the weekend & getting the train from St Pancreas. This hotel is just over the road from the station but I would rather stay in a hotel 10 miles away than stay here again. I had a very big heavy suitcase with me &... More

In a quiet square just across the way from Kings Cross St Pancras station the European Hotel was very convenient. The room was very small but clean and comfortable with a ceiling fan and a large double hung window, ideal for a couple of hot london nights. There is no lift so if you can't carry your cases up the... More

Perfect location to visit central London, next to King's Cross St Pancras subway station, an ideal starting point for taking a metro that brings you nearly everywhere. Within walking distance to the Wellcome Collection, The British Museum, shops, restaurants etc. The double room was tiny yet practical and clean. Flushing the toilet was frightening as the toilet cistern sounded like... More

For £250 for 3 nights in kings cross I wasn't that disappointed but if you're looking for luxury pay more! Has a 2nd floor double, so four flight of stairs to climb to room. The room was tiny but served its purpose! Bed I feel was smaller than a standard double but I am used to a king size! The... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
