For £250 for 3 nights in kings cross I wasn't that disappointed but if you're looking for luxury pay more! Has a 2nd floor double, so four flight of stairs to climb to room. The room was tiny but served its purpose! Bed I feel was smaller than a standard double but I am used to a king size! The... More

Ours was a small clean twin room with OK beds, dodgy plumbing and creaky floorboards. No lift or baggage hoist, though secure storage believed to be available near Reception. Front rooms overlook a park; rear ones don't. Free WiFi. Friendly Italian staff. Hot breakfast plus cereals, etc. At £80 prpn, more expensive than a first-class B&B in Yorkshire, of course, but... I guess you get what you pay for. London is expensive and this hotel is good value for money. Location is perfect. Even arriving from Heathrow was easy. The hotel however is only good for sleeping. Rooms are extremely small. No real space to put luggage. Breakfast is English style only. So bacon and eggs. We probably would not stay... More

The hotel is just 4 minutes walk from Kings Cross station. The room is quite small. My family stayed only for one night as we were heading to Dublin the next day. The staff are friendly and nice. 24h counter available so don't worry if you arrive late at night. Overall, the room is clean, free breakfast and wifi provided,... More

The location is excellent, the building front looks good, the breakfast buffet is basic but has what is required in a clean and spacious basement breakfast room. Sadly the rooms looked tired and tatty and had a faint smell of smoke, the bathroom is a cabin in the room, where you can not move in the shower as it is so... More

Booked this for a one night stay, room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom small but everything worked. Little bit noisy outside as front facing room, opposite a park, so would ask for a quiet room next time. Reception staff friendly and helpful. It's not luxurious but if you need a bed and like things clean and basic then this... More

It was my 2nd time in this hotel. Still as dependable because it was close to Train Station in Kings Cross. For £60 a night, you get a very small room with small toilet and bathroom. First timers to London may be disappointed. But this is what you get in London. You want big comfortable 3 stars hotel room? Pay... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
