This not so small budget hotel offers many advantages but if you plan to stay here, you have to keep an open mind. This is, and does not pretend to be more, a budget hotel. What it offers as a plus. - A full English breakfast (in the form of a buffet but decent enough) - The bed mattress is... More

The European Hotel was a great place to stop with more room in the rooms then what we have had in previous stops in this area. The rooms we're very clean, but a little tired. This wasn't a problem as we said. Very clean. The staff we're friendly on arrival, and helpful. This was a central hotel just across the... More

We spent 4 nights in the hotel this October. Yes, I would agree with many previous reviews - it is really old and needs refurbishing. The rooms are indeed small (we had a bed, small space on all sides to walk around it, and a tiny bathroom - although the shower stall was sufficiently big, I guess it depends on... More

The hotel is an excellent location, being a very short distance from King's Cross station. The twin room we had was very small and the bathroom was even smaller! The shower head was held up with red tape, the towels were small and a bit thin, no bath mat provided. There is not even a toilet roll holder! You barely... More

Others have said it before me. Small, filthy, uncomfortable and so noisy. Had no choice as my company booked it, but if they book it again for me, the next thing they'll get is my resignation. Yes, I would honestly quit my job rather than stay in this dive again.

I dont have a problem with small rooms or bathrooms as long as they are clean. This hotel was absolutely disgusting. All the pictures are 100% accurate. Moldy, smelly, unclean and unkept rooms, peeling wall paper, stains all over the room including on the sheets, standing water in the shower, no room to even move around once your suitcases are... This is an average hotel, but we chose it because it was in a perfect location, just 2 minutes from the King's Cross subway stop and the St. Pangras station - which is perfect for the Airport travelers. Our room was really really small, as it was supposed from the photos, but it was properly cleaned everyday and really hot... More

I was expecting a small room, and this room was even more tiny than I could imagine. The worst part was being have to climb up three floors by steps with my suitcase, cause there is no lift. Tiny towel, breakfast is OK minus. Come here only for the price...

Where to start? My room (apparently a double) was the smallest most cramped space I have ever encountered. Just getting to the room through a series of very narrow walkways felt seriously unsafe (not sure this place will pass any Health & Safety inspections). The furniture was dilapidated and probably from the early 70"s. The springs in my mattress actually... More
