We have stayed at the European hotel a few times now and have never been disappointed with our trips. The hotel is very reasonably priced and it has always been lovely and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful! The rooms have always been clean with the beds made everyday for us and fresh towels. On our last trip... More

Great Location!!! Never been to a 2 star hotel but I was very happy with this hotel. Reception is always open and wifi is good unless you use apple. It's great for a business trip and cheap. Breakfast we avoided but otherwise cannot complain.

The single room I booked was very small but also cheap. The room was very clean with laminate flooring so no dirty carpet. Breakfast is help yourself with full English and preserves for toast. The staff are friendly and the hotel is located 2 minutes walk from kings cross rail and tube station so travelling anywhere is easy from this... More

This is the cheapest hotel in the area and for good reason. If your on a budget then go for it. I stayed many times when traveling alone and in my early 20s however after several visits the tiny rooms, low quality furniture, uneven flooring, rude staff etc mean I would never stay here if traveling with others. Pros: location,... More

clean, basic, no elevator, good breakfast self service style, coffee or tea in thermos, if you call ahead you can leave luggage in hotel or in room if room is already available, hotel not that far from St Pancras station, after leaving that station you cross Euston Road and go direction of Kings Cross station on the right you find... I was planning a two day trip to London with my girlfriend to go to a Football Match and a Concert, I wanted somewhere as cheap as possible, with good access to Central London, and preferably Breakfast. The European Hotel did not disappoint. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, the location is less than 5 Minutes walk from... More

The breakfast room is in the basement and it's very poor standard for a hotel ! I've been in cosier back street cafes! On... More

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. London accommodation is expensive, but if you're on a budget, it's better to look for a room or an apartment elsewhere. The rooms are tiny and the bed as well. When my partner tuned around, I had to turn around too (we're not plus-sized people). The wifi is on... More

My daughter and I booked for a 6 night stay at the European from 04 December to 10 December. Not known what to expect, but we were delighted with the service we got for the price we paid. All staff was friendly and pleasant from reception, room attendant and breakfast staff, nothing was too much trouble, we always request extra... More

This is the WORST place I have every stayed at in my life. The room was not just small, it was so narrow that I kept bumping into bed/table/wardrobe at every single move. The bathroom was so tiny that if I had been any taller or bigger I would not have been able to use it at all. It certainly... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
