It is honestly the best hostel I have been to in London. Clean, quiet at night, the rooms are not too big, the place is friendly. However, I regret the lack of power plugs and common kitchen. Not enough showers (so rush in the morning). But given its price and location... it is a good bet and I would/will probably... More

My family and I stayed here for 5 days and I would just like to thank the staff for their hospitality. This hostel is very convenient as it is 3mins walk from St. Pancras / king's cross station. Pubs and cafes were everywhere but the best part is the hostel has its own cafe and pub! Good wifi and great... More

I came there last year to visit London with a friend and it was really great. Rooms and shared bathrooms are really clean and the staff are really nice and helpful. It is near St-Pancras Station so the arrival and the departure are really easy. It near a station on the Piccadilly Line so it was really easy to visit... More

I would stay here again.Very close to the tube and also there are a lot of places you can have breakfast/dinner close to the hostel. We stayed at the second floor and everything was pretty clean. Also, the good thing is that we couldn't hear the music from downstairs, so the room was quiet. Plus, there's free wifi!

Very comfortable and clean beds, nice overall decoration and good service..... Me and my friend spend a very good staying in the place They have a nice chill out living room, a cafeteria and a bar, you can choose where to be depending on your mood, that was cool.

I would definitely stay here again. It is in an awesome location that you can walk to from the station, catch the tube or walk to the sites. The value of food and drink was brilliant. Getting cash out the ATM has no fees so that's a plus. Overall I will be staying at the Generator again in the future.

I had a good experience here despite how crazy busy it was. It is very safe and clean. The wifi works great. The staff was helpful. When I arrived to check in late at night we realized I had accidentally booked the wrong month. They quickly adjusted my reservation and got me a bed. Upon leaving the manager was extra... More

I was overall very impressed, there are great common rooms, the service was very quick and friendly. The bar and cafe were awesome and really easy to meet people. Wifi was also really quick and easy to use (a must for me as I had to study) My only issues were the 4 person dorm was very small, not a... More

Obviously you shouldn't expect luxury here, but the atmosphere at the hotel is nice and welcoming, with good common areas. Especially good for young guests, and if you are a big group so you can stay in one of the bigger rooms. The hostel is clean and the breakfast is fine. The location is perfect.

Great place to be. With a bar and cafe to eat, drink and meet new people, places to relax and unwind, good rooms, great beds, nice staff. Had a great stay and definitely coming back. Only a three minute walk from Russel Square Underground station. Underground will take you to most place in the city centre within 10 minutes.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
