The heater in the room from 00:00 to 02:00 is terrible in spring and summer be ware of it. You even can't controll it! Everething instead of it was perfect. You have a very good service for apropriate money cost.

If you're thinking of staying at the Generator London, can I just say turn around and run as far away from it as you can. If I could do my trip over, I would stay literally anywhere else than this hostel. Literally. Anywhere. Else. I arrived at the check-in time of 2pm, and was pretty horrified to see that my... More

Stayed here for 1 night to meet up with friends met whilst travelling. Fab hostel, very clean and comfortable beds. Showers were hot and plenty of pressure. Modern designed bar and cafe. Reasonably priced and good selection at breakfast. Would stay again. Thanks

The rooms are in a good shape, very good cleaned off, a little bit small. The human services were very kindfully, adequate. The diverity of the breakfast could al little bit better. We surely come back, in London or another City in the Gererator Hostel

Generator Hostel London is a modern, exciting hostel with a great bar, restaurant and hangout spots. It's a pity, then, that the experience was spoilt by other fellow travellers... The rooms were clean and the price is reasonable - the hostel is also conveniently placed, with at least 3 different stations nearby and a walk away from all the touristy... More

Picked up a cheap bed at short notice. Well equipped hostel set up to accommodate the modern traveler. In a great location not far from the nearest Underground Station. Despite the large number of people staying there, there was still plenty of space, common rooms, bar, tv room etc. Cheap happy hour beers.

Ideal for younger crowd - met so many people and this place was clean. The on-site restaurant and bar make rainy days (happens in London...) much easier to keep busy. Security is tight, cleaning services are on point and the value was better than most other hostels on my trip. It's a short train (tube) ride and frankly, walking around... More

Overall pretty great. Good price for one night in a nice comfortable and clean dorm room with sink and mirror. The bathrooms were a bit tight and alright. The check in lobby and restaurant were great, really cool hostel. The bar was pretty nice too with billiard tables, places to sit and a mini dance floor for the open mic/DJ... More

This was the best hostel that I have ever stayed. Its really well localized and the staff so friendly. There is just one point that I think they could improve, the bathroom. I think they should put a door in each bath house. besides this, the hostel is amazing! I strongly recommend it.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
