Fantastic location as it was very central. We had a private 4 bed room which was clean and the beds were comfy. However felt the room was too small for 4 people and there was only three of us and it was quite cramped for us. The bathroom was cleaner than expected although we had to walk to the other... More

Full of young travelers. Was good to communicate, but little tiring too. However, I definitely got some nice information about hidden spots in London from roommates which was good. The facilities including shower was comparably clean and good. Breakfast not recommendable.

This is definitely the best of all the Generator hostels. Great location in the very central Bloomsbury district. From there you can easily walk to Camden or to the West End in less then 30 minutes! The hostel offers a number of facilities, including a great pub and a number of sites where you can stay for eating or just... More

I've stayed in hotels that weren't as good as this. It's clean, central and great value! Staff are always happy to help and you meet a lot of people there. The tour desk made things super easy and it was super easy to get anywhere from the hostel.

It's a great hostel and I would recommend it and stay there again, however there was one slight issue as it was extremely hot whilst I was in London the rooms were boiling. There was no air conditioning or windows in our room as we were in a basement dorm. We had two fans but they only blew about the... More

The receptionists are always nice and kind, willing to provide any help you might need. The rooms are clean and the beds are super comfortable. The bathrooms are ok, taking into account the number of people who use them. In general it's a great place :)

The hostel has an extremely good location, only 5min walk from King's Cross Station/St Pancras, you can easily go ANYWHERE! There is a grocery store et a few restaurants and bars near the hostel. You have a locker in your room, a place to relax or to party, depends on how you feel! I would recommend it!

travelled with family, 2 adults, 14 & 10 year old in four bed (2 x bunks). Beds comfy, bedding fresh and brought our own towels. Kids loved 'chill out' room and 'cinema' room. Tried breakfast one morning( fresh rolls, ham, cheese, cereals and fruit plus tea, coffee apple or orange juice) for £4. Kids had bacon on a roll for... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
