I stayed here for 3 nights in a 6 persons shared bedroom. I was lucky to share it with 3 other quiet girls (might be very different experience if you share it with drunk, party-going guys). The room was very clean, but as in most hostels very small (luckily we were only 4 in a room of 6).The bathroom was... More

Great place to stay if ur looking for somewhere to share a room / save on costs. Close to tube, great decor, clean and secure, great staff. The first 2 people I saw in the corridors in the morning were a child, about 7, and then a gentleman, about 80, so I guess it's suitable for everyone!

Old facility, looks like a prison. The staff was very polite but as soon as we got to the room, it looked like we were going to prison. the corridors were terrifying and there was one bathroom for the whole floor.

A really great place if you're in town for 2-3 days. Plenty of transport options to every major tourist attraction in London. Lovely park just 2 min walk from the hostel, as well as quite a few cafe's and pubs. Good security. Fast WI-FI. Attention vegans and vegetarians! No veg option in the hostel breakfast service.

Stayed here for 3 night over the marathon weekend we were in a room for 4 it was small but clean. The toilet areas were always clean but the showers were poor, the food was good except for breakfast. This was poor ham cheese served in a small area so queuing, then they ran out of cups so no tea... More

The hostel has a very 'youth' atmosphere inside. It is clean and the staffs are friendly. It served a great breakfast too. And it is securely guarded by the security. But it takes some times to connect to the internet ! And the room (4 ppl with bunk beds) is small. We could hardly open our luggage. The location is... More

Stayed at the Generator Hostel for two nights. The staff is very friendly. I enjoyed the tight security that ensured no unwanted persons enter the hostel (f.e. to go to the baggage room). Staff is very helpful if you have anything you need. The room was clean and nicely done. The facilitites were clean as well. There is a lot... More

Great youth vibes here. The staff was really nice. They printed out my ticket and charged my phone free of charge when I only had an EU adapter and forgot that the UK needed a separate adapter. They upgraded us from a large room into a smaller 4 bed room. It was nice of them because I wasn't woken up... More

Great hostel, perfect location (next to busy subway lines), very clean and modern. The value for money is great. Nothing to say, it was absolutely perfect, except the men showers on the fourth floor. They were so hot that it was impossible to take a shower!

This hostel is in a fab location. The staff are helpful and the other travelers in the hostel were heaps of fun. Great place if you're traveling alone. Bar was a lot of fun .. Maybe too much at times :) I highly recommend this hostel if you're planning a trip to London

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
