Went to see Goodbye Mr Tom at the Duke of York Theatre in London. Weekday night. Booked an overnight stay at the hotel. Room clean and tidy. Just big enough for the two of us. No bigger. Basic facilities. Walking distance of Euston and the Theatre. Lovely breakfast. Full English. Very satisfied £125. Will use this hotel again. Thank you.

Good central hotel. I stopped just one night after a function. Reception were very welcoming and helpful. Room was good and microwave a nice feature. Breakfast OK. Some road noise at night but that is normal for London

The Captains cabin was a very cool room, and we even got a free bottle of wine;) It was located next to the dining room and we could get the breakfast into the room which was nice since we could add some complements from the refrigerator in the room. We were very satisfied with everything in this hotel and its... More

We booked one night at Regency House London. We arrived around 23:30 and found that the room have no air-con as no remote control. We reported to overnight staff and he asked us just to open the window when it is freezing outside. He stated that London doesn't need air-con and hotel only have heating system. I showed him the... We needed a hotel which was conveniently close to Paddington and theatre land. This hotel ticks both boxes - Just four stops from Paddington on the Metropolitan Line and then a short (5 min) walk from Euston Sq underground station. We were then just a ten minute walk from the Gielgud Theatre. Its staff are very attentive and our standard... More

Not very impressed with this hotel. We booked a superior room which the information stated had a patio. Room turned out to be a basement room with very little light, very cramped feeling and the patio was about 8 feet by 8 feet and accessed from a corridor not from the room. Patio was also surrounded by the walls of... More

I booked a prepaid room via Expedia for the year end hols with my family, with two grownup kids, and stayed for 7 nights. I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the tube station Goodge under 0.5km walk to hotel (Northern line connects to the Piccadilly line at Leceister station), and also it came with the perfect... Room 17 right at the top of the building in a very small room. Tatty decor and strong wind produced draft from the window and rattling from the roof tiles. Breakfast very goid but overall coulf have done better for the money

This was my second hotel in London (the other one had no rooms available for the edta night I stayed) Even when it is a old British style hotel, I can't complain a lot. The tv was too old and also the furnitures, however it's a complete vintage England experiencing I guess. It's ok for the money.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
