The room was small, but clean and the bathroom was nice, however, there is nothing else favourable about this hotel. Our room was described as a 'superior room' on the lower ground floor. The radiator was on high all night, the room was like a sauna and we had no heat controller. There is a large air conditioning unit in... More

I stayed only one night, but I loved it. My room was quite Lilliputian, but it was lovely arranged. I had in a tiny place everything I needed. There is a lovely back yard that you may enjoy in warm days and good weather (which was not the case when I stayed there!). You have a good connection to internet... More

We have stayed in 3 B & B's in this area and this probably not quite as good as the other two. We had a room on the second floor which was clean and tidy. It comes with a fridge and microwave and tea/coffee facilities, all good ! The bathroom though was tiny but for a short stay it will... More

Dreadful - hated it. Small pokey room on the round floor, other residents clattering through noisy fire doors all night long. Very dark with no view. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast, pleasant staff, but couldn't wait to leave. Really spoilt our evening out at the theatre and too tired the next morning after no sleep to be bothered doing anything much... More

Our 2nd visit. Both times in basement rooms which were quirky _ the cabins cabin was fun. Great location.free WiFi and good facilities.back garden nice in summer. Friendly staff and good breakfast.this has become our bolt hole for London stopover.

This is a very nice hotel walking distance from the British Museum. The breakfast was great - lots of choices and prompt table service in an intimate setting. Beds were soft, room was quiet (we had the executive room in the basement) and the internet was good. In addition to being an easy walk to the British Museum, the hotel... More

Just back from London and am thinking that this place was one of the better 'budget' hotel I have stayed in London. We opted here because we needed to visit UCL and it was a short walk ( 5 mins ) away. I felt safe walking around the hotel at night, with pedestrians mostly students in a youngish crowd. I... More

Stayed 5 nights in one of the larger rooms with 2 singles & 1 double bed on ground floor facing Gower Street (3 adults). Well appointed spacious room with fridge, air-con, microwave, tea/ coffee making facilities (rare in London), opening windows & full English breakfast included (need to walk down a flight of narrow stairs to dining room). Quiet area... More

The staff were excellent. The room was lovely comfortable and spacious, also had fridge and microwave just in case. Furnishings lovely including bathroom The only negatives were sink difficult to brush teeth in as under shelf. The cabin bed was beautiful but not pleasant to get in and out of due to high wooden sides. However extremely comfortable once in.... More

We stayed one night and found the facilities, cleanliness, location etc were very good value. Only drawback was very tiny bathroom but OK for one night. Will definitely try and stay here again on next visit to London. Able to walk from St Pancras/Kings Cross if light luggage. Close to facilities on Russell Square and Tottenham Ct Road.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
