Hotel is in a great location, 5 mins walk from Paddington station. Unfortunately, because it's so close, if you get a basement floor (we had room 2), you will hear the tube go through every ~5 minutes. Obviously nothing they can do about it, just a warning as it will disrupt your sleep - the tube runs from about 5.30am-midnight.... More

If you need somewhere close to Paddington station then you can't get better for location. This is however where the plus sides end! When we arrived the man at reception (a pokey cupboard) was friendly enough and told us breakfast would be between 8-10 am, but no further information. Our ground floor room next to reception was very spacious and... More

After reading the reviews on here I was fearing the worst...When we arrived we were greeted by a nice enough man. He gave us our key and asked my friend to fill something in on iPad. She a was a bit wary as she already gave her bank details on booking...but did anyway. I had also read that there were... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in room 3, on the lowest floor. Upon checking in, we found the guy at the desk to be super friendly, allowing us to leave our bags, since we had arrived a little too early and the room wasn't quite ready for us. There was no judgement whatsoever on the fact that we are a... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. Our room was very big and comfortable, the room itself and the bathroom were both very clean. The breakfast (served on demand at 8, 8.30 or 9 o'clock) was decent for the price paid. The location of the hotel is perfect very close to Paddigton station and to Hyde Park. The young people managing... More

When I booked this hotel I was a little concerned as it cost less than £200 for 2 people for 3 nights. However on arrival we were made very welcome. The place is dated but had everything we needed. Bed was clean and comfortable the room was cosy and warm and everything we needed including tea and coffee in abundance,... More

Looks lovely from outside. When you enter, reception is a cubby nook. No lift. We were given room on ground floor right next to office. Room was fitted with 2 small double beds with just enough room to walk around beds. Bathroom was like a cramped plastic cupboard you'd find in a old caravan. Very high ceiling with no windows.... I booked a single room for together four nights. Number 7, right on the first floor. It was very small. 1.5 meter by 3 meter. But it had everything in it. Bed, closet, two small cabinets, fridge, sink, television, electric heater and a hair dryer. I suspected to have trouble sleeping because of the noise in the hallway. Also that... More

I booked one night in here prior to the Royal Parks Half Marathon, essentially because of the bargainous price and walking distance to the start line. I wasn't expecting much for central London for £30ish a night, and that's exactly what I got! But, saying that I was only wanting somewhere basic, to sleep and shower really so in that... More
