I was a little nervous coming here after the reviews but it wasn't a bad experience. Room was tiny (small double) but most importantly clean. Shower in bathroom had the cover of the drain on the floor missing but otherwise it was nice and bed was comfortable and clean and everything was as it should be. Wasn't too noisy at... More

Checked in at the main reception which was lovely and very modern in decor. We were walked a few doors down to the Excelisor house. Our room was number 21 on the first floor so luckily only had to walk one flight as there appeared to be no lift service. Room was very pokey. We'd paid for a superior double... More

I made a reservation in the hotel. The reception is actually in another building. Nicely decorated. Good first impression. Upon arrival i was informed that my room was not available due to problems with heating / electricity. I was offered a room in a neighbourhood hotel (European House). A place clearly inferior to the standard of the Albion ( old,... More

This is not a negative review. If nothing else our visit to this establishment has taught us to be more thorough before we book. The hotel does what it states it is there for. It provides budget rooms at a budget price. They are clean, well decorated and functional. Be aware there are no lifts if stairs are an issue.... More

We wanted to do London on a budget, this fitted the bill perfectly, the rooms are quite small but we expected that, bathroom adequate, bed comfortable and there was enough clothing space. Only real downside was the noise from the apartments behind us, but nothing major. The staff were very helpful and friendly, would recommend to anyone doing London on... More

We booked this place as we had an early morning eurostar train from St Pancras international. the station is literally 4 to 5 mins walk from the hotel. The check is strangely across the road at its sister hotel, however i was greeted by a friendly receptionist who shwed me to my room. the room was small but clean and... More

Overall no major complaints You could argue the shower is a bit small and the coffee a bit basic, but neither a reason not to stop again. A little annoyed that last time I stayed I was placed in a ground floor room right next to the main door which meant I was kept awake everyone someone went for a... More

Dear Mike9999 Thanks a lot for your review and generally positive feedback. We use nescafe instant coffee sachets which really serves as a convenient way to grab a quick drink without having to go outside . In a world where we are all coffee lovers and there is a coffee chain on every street corner ; our tastes have become... More

At this price so close to Kings Cross station and yet set in a quiet back street you can't do better! Yes they weren't serving breakfast due to refurbishment, and there was a little bit of noise from the tube but realistically these are minor issues. The room was clean and the bed was possibly the most comfortable hotel bed... More

We stayed at Albion House for 3 nights. We had our room several hours late without any compensation. Then we discovered the room. Very, very small room. OK, we're near St Pancras, it is very expensive, but the location is something. What is unacceptable is the unhealthiness of the room. A tiny bathroom, very disgusting, we seriously think about not... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We are always looking to improve our rooms and services. Some comments on your points: Small room. All our rooms and bed sizes are clearly displayed on our website. If you do find the room too small there are many other options on larger sized rooms and these are a bit more expensive... More

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
