Beautiful quiet area handy for the tube and very central for all London's main attractions. Lovely newly decorated rooms. Excellent brand new bathroom suite. Extremely comfortable bed.Very impressive buildings. More comfortable than staying in a large hotel. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely full English breakfast served 'buffet style' in Goodenough College just across the road in the Great... More

This is a busy time for me, often changing hotel for job. Yet, this is the best I've been as a guest for now. Peaceful, elegant, inspiring place! This is mainly a studying place, offering accommodation to students, and at the same time with many facilities as a library, common rooms, music rooms, great hall serving meals, butteries and a... Given the fairly attractive rate went to stay here a a change from the usual nusiness hotls. Basement room with little natural light. Spacious room but odd layout. Breakfast arrangements complicated. Staff nice enough.

We stayed here for one night, and were not quite sure what to expect after reading the reviews and write up on their website. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The building is stunning, and looks quite impressive from the outside. Upon arrival, we were given a warm welcome by the guy in reception. He showed us to our room, one... More

We had a fantastic stay at The Goodenough Club, the rooms were lovely and the suite was exquisite! All staff were very helpful and friendly, everything was smoothly run and well organised. Breakfast was great, we stayed in the main house for the continental rather than going for the cooked breakfast across the square. We had a really lovely stay,... More

Have stayed at the Goodenough Club several times - love coming back. Nice small hotel, good rooms, good atmosphere, great location and then with a magic trick: The breakfast in the Great Hall of the college. The breakfast in itself is good, but the location is magic. Feels a bit like Hogwarts

I stayed here for a couple of days on business. The room was very nice, and my only complaint is that it felt like a fish bowl and with not much privacy! It was on the ground floor in a place where other guests pass by and two of the walls are glass. There are blinds which you can close,... More

Such a mixed bag: nice neighborhood but very hard to find, nice building t annoying renovations with rooms perched up and down multiple rickety flights of stairs, good breakfast!!, nice staff , but no real lobby. Stairs are a health hazard, and rooms face a strange internal corridor..

In right location for a next day business conference. More apartment than room but definitely not what I would expect from a 4 star establishment. Room upgrade spacious but in basement! Breakfast arrangements complex according to whether continental or full English (different buildings). Staff very helpful and accommodation clean.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
