Spent just one night prior day at Wimbledon. Close to Earls Court Tube, M&S for provisions, & local Cafes & Restaurants. We had ground floor room G3 - no traffic noise once bathroom window & door closed. As part of a comprehensive renovation - outside and in - G3 had been redecorated and a completely new shower-room fitted (the best... More

We stayed here for two nights as we wanted somewhere easy to get to from Heathrow and also convenient for central London. The room was clean and comfortable, on the whole; the bathroom had obviously been very recently renovated and was beautifully done (it looked like there was still a light to be installed over the mirror as there was... Understanding that it is difficult to find cheap accommodation in London, this could be a solution if you are on a tight budget, but do not expect luxury. There was a lot of construction going in the hotel, so there were paint buckets, tarp, scaffolding, and other materials laying around. The breakfast was quite scanty (cereal and toast) with coffee.... More

Arrived in hotel with 3 people as booked. Were directed to room downstairs. Had to step over all sorts of junk straight at the bottom of stairs. It was obvious they are in the midst of a refurbishment. Room tiny for 3 people. Only 2 cups for drinks, junk in back yard, people walking around. No bath mat. Bathroom nice... More

This small hotel has has some bad reviews in the past. We have just stayed here for 3 nights and found that the previous reviews are out of date. The hotel has gone through a full redecoration and all the rooms have had new bathrooms. We stayed on the ground floor and could not fault the room. We had a... More

This hotel has received a number of poor reviews however having just stayed there for three nights for our base whilst visiting the Chelsea flower show 40 mins walk away and then the O2 arena via tube we can say it has been extensively refurbished and redecorated to an excellent standard. All Rooms have new showers with double shower heads... More

Booked in to stay just two nights. First of all, the room had no power. Mentioned this to an extremely unhelpful gentleman at the front desk who said he couldn't do anything and we'd just have to wait for it to come back on. This took a while. Secondly, the shower (which I was reluctant to get in to in... More

Our daughter organised our stay here. It was part of our Christmas present which included a theatre trip, a meal and seeing her run a half marathon. Therefore the booking was made 4 months in advance. By the time we got here it was obvious that the hotel was undergoing a major revamp with a builders skip prominently in the... More

This hotel is ok for location, it's 10 minutes from Earl's Court. The room was very basic. There was no side cabinets. No bin. No hairdryer. Tv had no remote control. We asked for one. When we got one the TV didn't work anyway. No kettle or tea & coffee. The bed was solid. For breakfast we had cereal orange... More

Chelsea is a small hotel in a very good part of London. The location is perfect for trips to all of the places you want to visit as tourist. Staff is very friedly, breakfast ist typically for London, I recommend it to everybody who is on a budget ;-)
