This a really nice little apartment with fully spec-ed kitchen, toilet and shower and main room with bed, wardrobe and couch. It made a really nice change from staying in a Holiday Inn and the room felt bright and airy. For me the best things about the apartment were the location (less than 3 mins from Angel and very close... More

The cleaning staff stole belongings from the apartment (Christian Dior makeup, clothing, vodka, medication, toiletries). We were told we were going to be charged for a missing key and £150 for an extra nights' stay because we didn't check out in time. We returned the key and we since learned that the room was re-let and the staff are now... More

The room was nice, with lots of light, the kitchen and bathroom were ok. The bed is not very good, the room was quite clean. But be careful, it was very very noisy ! It is very close to Pentonville Road and to a hospital, with some ambulance sirens all night.

I stayed in the cloudesely rd apartment for just one night. I booked it in a rush as we had nowhere else to stay and was wary after reading some of the reviews. But instead of collecting keys, they email you the keypad code for access to the flat. They have two good sized rooms, however I noticed that the... More

Appartement are OK and location perfect but there are so much to impove in quality and decoration. Too much bin outside, no extras in the rooms. cleaning every 2 days, no brush to clean yourself if you want. Fridge too smal.

We paid £350 for 2 nights in a dirty basement flat infested with ants, leaking toilets, filthy outdoor space. The walls paint was peeling. The only good thing was its location. Shame as with a bit of cleaning and tlc, this could be a great place.

The apartment is cozy and clean. Only one problem: the darkening of a window. I was forced to having to climb on a chair to adjust the tent. A beautiful area of London well connected. I'll keep this in a forthcoming trip to London.

One of the worst hotel I've ever seen! Where do I begin?? We rent a flat for 6 persons just in front of the Emirates Stadium. So when you receive your booking confirmation, they told you that you have to pick up the keys in another hotel (1.2 miles away). We arrive at 1:00pm and the girl at the office... More

I stayed in their apartment on Cloudsley Road, Angel and it was great value for money. For six guests there was ample space, two double bedrooms and two double sofa beds. The place was pleasantly decorated, had a good sized kitchen with all the necessary appliances and was warm and clean. There was a small patio garden area which was... More

You'll spend more trying to sort things out with these people than sightseeing. - I regretted booking this apartment from the moment we tried to check-in. The woman in the sister hotel (where you first have to check in before going across town to your apartment) was rude and didn't seem to care in the slightest, she seemed aggravated when... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
