Handy for Kings Cross, breakfast juice and beverages could be better. Acceptable for one night, but could do with some TLC. As solo traveller the single room was convenient, as I wasn't paying a premium for single occupancy

Very old facilities, not very well maintained. very small rooms and bathrooms. For the price range there are better options in the same area. Good Location, with easy access to local and international transport. I will not be there again

EXCELLENT location, right opposite Kings Cross/St Pancras. Cheap rates, basic room, shared showers shared toilet. Sink and TV in room. Quiet when windows closed so you choose level of noise. Buffet breakfast good, staff nice. Luggage storage, no lift.

The hotel is excellently located to King's Cross St. Pancras stations. About a 5 minute walk. Yes, as is typical in London, this is an old building which was converted to a hotel to maximise revenue. The rooms are small as are the bathrooms but considering all you do is sleep and shower what more do you need? You are... More

room is tiny, about 10ft x 10ft, approx 12 inches between the 2 beds and no room to move about, lots of stairs and doors to struggle through with cases, the shared toilet smelled really bad, breakfast was included which was quite nice although a group of men at the next table were told to move on as they had... If you are on a budget then this is for you. £60 for two nights with breakfast included.Don't expect any frills because you won't get any! But did have crispy clean white bedding with a comfy bed ... Bonus! & ideally situated for getting around.

The good: Location cannot be faulted. St Pancras and King's Cross are a single road crossing away. In fact, you don't even need to cross (the always busy) Euston Road because there is a subway entrance at the end of the street! Price too was pretty darn good. £40 a night (inc breakfast) is a steal. You have to share... More

I paid £60 for this, which is obviously quite cheap. This is without doubt the most stripped-down, basic of hotels I've ever stayed in. This is the ultimate realisation of the term "no frills". Breakfast was included in the price, which probably helps justify it but it's not the most charming dining area in the world. I was looking forward... More

excellent value and so close to the 3 main stations here as well as underground connections the room was clean although not overly large, but hey you are only going to sleep in there. Walk in shower so watch the step. stairs and hallway show signs of wear and tear, chipped paint etc but nothing excessive a mixture of staff... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
