It was nice to be there 2 nights because it was cheap and really near to the rail station so we just left the train and entered in the hotel so it was really nice to sleep closer to the rail station then.

I thought our stay at the nearby Howard Winchester was bad until we stayed here! The comforters were stained and dirty, mold in shower, and the hallway in front of the ensuite shower had mold on the ceiling. The location is great, the included English breakfast buffet was what we expected (which wasn"t much), but nothing in the room was... More

We did have a family room, so you can expect some crowding, but this was tiny even by London standards. TV was about a 15” computer screen. It didn’t matter, though, because it didn’t work anyway. The front desk person said they can’t do anything about it until someone comes in later in the morning. Breakfast was ok –full English... More

Took 2 american friends to London - you get what you pay for but a dirty mouldy bathroom with the dirtiest toilet bowl I have ever seen. Hole in the laminate flooring - do not have bare feet - can hurt! The net curtains were black but the beds and bedding were clean - clean towels every day but nowhere... More

We stayed here for one night. The triple room was just awful, so tiny even for 2 people. The toilet door could not be shut comfortably when seated. On the other door the word THIEVES had been cut into the door with a knife. The seperate shower smelt so musty we didn't dare use it, very small wash basin in... More

When I heard this was a budget hotel, I had very minimal expectations, even with the expensive £75/night price. From the outside, the place looks reasonable. However, once I was inside I was met with a dusty reception and very steep staircase. The rooms were extremely small, with scratched and dirty walls, holes in the floor and window sills. There... After reading various reviews I nearly panicked and cancelled my booking, but I'm glad now I didn't! Just across the road from Kings Cross/St Pancrass, it is ideally situated for EuroStar-passengers and sightseeing. Yes, it is a very basic hotel needing a bit of investment/TLC. And there is no lift. But room 40 had everything we needed. The bed is... More

I stayed with a friend for 7 nights in this hotel in an ensuite room. We were very happy with our choice. The room, bathroom, toilet was clean and in good condition. Fresh towels every day. Good english breakfast. Friendly staff. Perfect location. Very good value!!

Stay away from this hotel. Unclean, bad staff, bad breakfast unclean and small bathrooms. Just terrible. I even got skin fungal infection after my stay here! Dont stay here unless you get paid for it, a lot!

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
