It is quite hard to be objective when you are forced to move here because of the "problem" in the hotel originally booked. Let's, however, give them a change. It was not so easy to find a reasonably priced hotel with good location in London when you want something more than a dormitory. I somehow managed and then found myself... More

The hotel was nice. We arrived in London in the morning and were able to drop off our luggage at the hotel before going into the city. That was very convenient! We were on the ground floor and the room was nice. Private bathroom was small but nice. Breakfast had few choices but for free it helped save some money.... More

Too thin walls. Had to listen to a prostitute doing her business all night and could even hear what they were saying. Slamming doors in the corridor echoing. I was infuriated at how much noise traveled. Didn't get any sleep. Very disappointing romantic stay.

Just a 5min walk from Finsbury Park Stations, close to a Lidl, bakery and Tesco Express which is a plus. Hotel looked tidy and reasonably smart on arrival at reception where we were dealt with quickly. The room (not on the main road side)had the usual, though was lacking a reading/bed side light. A few scuff marks on the walls... More

The room was nice and clean. Very nice out door patio in front right across the street from the park. Inside reception and breakfast area/bar are very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the included breakfast was not good. Toast, jam, ham, cheese and cereal. The coffee was awful. It would be much better if they would offer... More

We are a mature couple and have been travelling for 13 months. This hotel was a real little gem. It was close to a Metro station; there were plenty of buses up and down the road outside. There was a lounge and little restaurant attached where hotel guests had a discount. The whole place was quite clean. The room was... More

On the whole I can't really moan and for what I paid I can't moan. But the good bits of my stay were: Extremely secure free car parking - probably the most secure parking in any North London hotel Nicely decorated Rooms are very modern Reasonable selection if shops and takeaways walking distance away The bad parts: Very noisy traffic... Business stay for one night. Facade ok and bar area and reception looked ok. Twin room clean and appeared reasonably new. However … ensuite absolutely ridiculous, literally no room to move, mini sink positioned under a shelf unit making it almost unusable. Shower poor pressure and took 5 minutes to warm up. Unable to comment on the breakfast which to... More

Stayed 2 nights, clean and tidy room,It did the job.Untill returning to hotel one evening there was a lot of shouting and swearing coming from behind reception. I pointed out to the person doing this my son (7) was with me.He said sorry, then carried on, upsetting my son with his loud and abusive language. I told him it was not... More

Stayed here for a night in December in between digs. It was pretty cheap - less than £40 - and overall a good deal, booked through Expedia. It was clean and in a good location for transport and local eateries but noise is a big issue here, because of the wooden flooring that many reviewers have mentioned. I'm grateful, however,... More
