We stayed there for a week. And we made a wonderful holiday in London.First of all it's at a very good point to discover a London by tube, bus or walk. Staff is very kindly. It has a simple but pretty and sufficient breakfast. But most of all, the rooms are very clean.

No sooner had my wife and I made our 6-day reservation at the Troy Hotel than “Rugbyplayer” posted on TripAdvisor what he said was a “bit overdue” review from back in October 2014. His was such a critical and dreadfully negative review that I almost cancelled my reservation. I’m so thankful that I didn't because our experience proved to be... More

This review is a bit overdue. Back in Oct. 2015, I had the misfortune to spend a few nights at the Troy Hotel, in the Bayswater - Hyde Park area of London. The only thing going for it, was its location! When I checked in the front desk staff was rude and not very helpful at all, like I was... More

We moved from the Apollo next door, and what a pleasant surprise! For £55 a night we had a good size comfortable room, with everything we could wish for. Staff were friendly and helpful, and even the complimentary breakfast was very adequate. We would definitely chose this hotel again, if in the area.

I quite liked this hotel (we stayed several days), its basic but in this price range very good value. It's a small hotel a little bit outside of the center at Kensington park (a tube station is very close). Actually, the park is so close that one can easily take advantege of it and go for a nice morning run... More

Stayed at this hotel just one night, no heating in the room, but we were only there to sleep. Not a too bad location bit of a pain getting to Piccadilly line etc. The hotel were good enough to let us leave our bag even though we had checked out, so we were able to have a day out without... More

My husband and I stayed here for one Saturday night. We did not arrive until almost midnight. The door was locked but we pressed the bell and someone opened the door immediately. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was on the third floor and there was a modern lift. Our room was spacious, clean and pretty modern with... More

Stayed 2 nights for business. Coach/car parking is close also on Bayswater Road. (coach is 40 pounds/24hr) The hotel is located close to Bayswater Road and the Russian Embassy. Take the central line on the tube and exit at "Queensway" for easy acces. Staff correct and friendly, very small 1 person room with outdated interior. Bed is small, shower is... More

Spent three nights here with my teenage daughter. I've been to plenty of mid-range London hotels in the central areas and this hotel will definitely be on my shortlist when I'll pick the hotel next time. It was nice and clean and I didn't find the room particularly tiny as some other reviewers. Sure it wasn't big, but I'd say... More
