I have been there with my boyfriend from 13 to 16 October 2014 and all I can say is tht we found a really nice and cosy hotel in London city centre. Bayswater in my opinion is the best place in London and the first time I was there I booked in an hotel not so far from Troy and...omg... More

We ventured choosing this hotel among the cheapest in that period and we did a great choice. Clean rooms, friendly staff and, above all, comfortable position. A short walk from Hyde Park and Kensington garden and less than 5 minutes walk from the metro. Perhaps it would have been better a more various breakfast and a revisiting of the rooms... More

This is a small, quiet hotel in a perfect location for ease of transport. I stayed in a room for one, which was small but perfectly adequate. I appreciated the fridge and the coffee/tea making facilities. The room is clean and the bonus was the HOT shower on the two very cold nights I was there. Also good is the... More

There's barely Internet access apart from ground floor - thus hotel ad on amenities is misleading. Kettle in room badly needs to descale. Staff neither friendly nor helpful. Only thing to rave about is the location!

We stayed there for a week. And we made a wonderful holiday in London.First of all it's at a very good point to discover a London by tube, bus or walk. Staff is very kindly. It has a simple but pretty and sufficient breakfast. But most of all, the rooms are very clean.

No sooner had my wife and I made our 6-day reservation at the Troy Hotel than “Rugbyplayer” posted on TripAdvisor what he said was a “bit overdue” review from back in October 2014. His was such a critical and dreadfully negative review that I almost cancelled my reservation. I’m so thankful that I didn't because our experience proved to be... More

This review is a bit overdue. Back in Oct. 2015, I had the misfortune to spend a few nights at the Troy Hotel, in the Bayswater - Hyde Park area of London. The only thing going for it, was its location! When I checked in the front desk staff was rude and not very helpful at all, like I was... More

We moved from the Apollo next door, and what a pleasant surprise! For £55 a night we had a good size comfortable room, with everything we could wish for. Staff were friendly and helpful, and even the complimentary breakfast was very adequate. We would definitely chose this hotel again, if in the area.

I quite liked this hotel (we stayed several days), its basic but in this price range very good value. It's a small hotel a little bit outside of the center at Kensington park (a tube station is very close). Actually, the park is so close that one can easily take advantege of it and go for a nice morning run... More
