Stayed at this hotel just one night, no heating in the room, but we were only there to sleep. Not a too bad location bit of a pain getting to Piccadilly line etc. The hotel were good enough to let us leave our bag even though we had checked out, so we were able to have a day out without... More

My husband and I stayed here for one Saturday night. We did not arrive until almost midnight. The door was locked but we pressed the bell and someone opened the door immediately. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was on the third floor and there was a modern lift. Our room was spacious, clean and pretty modern with... More

Stayed 2 nights for business. Coach/car parking is close also on Bayswater Road. (coach is 40 pounds/24hr) The hotel is located close to Bayswater Road and the Russian Embassy. Take the central line on the tube and exit at "Queensway" for easy acces. Staff correct and friendly, very small 1 person room with outdated interior. Bed is small, shower is... More

Spent three nights here with my teenage daughter. I've been to plenty of mid-range London hotels in the central areas and this hotel will definitely be on my shortlist when I'll pick the hotel next time. It was nice and clean and I didn't find the room particularly tiny as some other reviewers. Sure it wasn't big, but I'd say... More

The hotel has good location. Staff correct, clean space, breakfast classic British one. Free tea and cafe in the room are available. Rooms are very small and beds ended at the toilet door. If you expect free WiFi you can find it only in the lobby. Internet signal is so weak that you even could not dream in the room.... More

This hotel is in a great location, close to Queensway (Central line) and Bayswater (Circle/District lines) tube stations and a short walk to Kensington Gardens and Palace. The Queensway in Bayswater (just around the corner) is a lively thoroughfare with plenty of shops and places to eat. We stayed 3 nights, from 21st November 2014. Reception staff were friendly and... The hotel is very clean, the staff very polite and helpful, the location great to get to the transportation, the price very competitive for London. I would recommend them to improve the breakfast and the mattresses along with the pillows.

We stayed here as it was close to a venue we were attending. Yes it's a bit dated but the room was clean and the bed more comfortable than some I have slept in recently. The shower was small and if I had dropped anything I would have had to get out to retrieve it, being well over 6'. Breakfast... More

We were booked to stay at the Troy hotel at the end of August/ beginning of September for 4 nights but we only stayed for 2. It was not very clean - stains on the bed quilt and hair all over the provided toiletries. The old style flusher detached from the wall on our last day and we waited for... More
