A 2 night stay on business. Location wise you can't fault the Troy. Five minutes to Queensway and another 5 to Bayswater giving access to Central, District and Circle lines. For walkers / joggers amongst you it's over the road from Hyde Pk. The room I stayed in (204) was ok. Mattress was a little thin and the shower cubicle... More

The hotel is very good located, a few meters from the Queensway tube station or bus stop : this is the only positive point of this place. Rooms are very small and a century old : there is no AC (good luck in summer) and we had to sleep every night with the small window open (I let you imagine... More

Stayed at the Troy Hotel recently for 2 nights. Good location, very quiet. The room was of a good size, plenty of room. The bathroom was quite small as was the shower. Toiletries supplied. Bedroom was quite stuffy, there isn't any aircon-but a ceiling fan and a seperate fan in the wardrobe to use. There is a hairdryer, but nowhere... More

Fine hotel. Good room for a decent price. Large and quiet. Three grievances: one was a piece of paper that looked like it had blood on it on the back of the shower, which was not cleaned, and the fact that my complaint it did not lead to a decent response by the person behind the counter. The second was... More

It's very clean and comfortable and the location is very convenient. You have very near the tube and several other ways of public transport, fronting a side road is not noisy at all. The complementary breakfasts was OK.

Booked this hotel for one night with my friend. The hotel is small but the rooms are a good size and well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and was very good! Cannot fault this hotel for the cheap price we paid :)

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We got a room on the first floor. It was quite back room, but next to the elevator that could be barely heard. The room was not new, but clean and tidy. The size of the room was enough to put our suitcases and walk around the room freely. We asked for... More

I booked two single rooms. One at the front (203) was quite spacious and comfortable, if basic, and represented good value for London. The only minor issue was the TV did not work. However the other room at the back of the property (308) was much smaller - especially the bathroom which was tiny and had an old, uncomfortable bed... More

Not perfect, but a decent basic hotel. The rooms are clean, but my bed was very lumpy and very creaky. The bedspreads were horribly old and looked in need of a cleaning, but sheets etc were perfectly clean. Also our fridge was not even cold, but we had plenty of tea & coffee left in our room every day. The... More
