This hotel is not far from Queensway Tube station.our room was just basic very small the shower is extra small and if you drop the soap it is very hard to pick it up. The continental breakfast was not that exciting is only Muslei, cheese, cottage cheese fruit(tinned) boiled eggs, olives, yohgurt rolls jam and toast only tea is normal... More

Stayed at the Troy for one night only - the stay was fine. the room decor was dated and the room was very compact - i had to squeeze into the shower. However the hotel was clean and friendly. Continental breakfast in the basement was generous and the location of the hotel is very central and close to the tube... More

I really liked this hotel in Bayswater., London. It was very comfortable, and had a ceiling fan fitted, plus a desk-top fan, which was much appreciated as the night was very hot and stuffy. The Continental breakfast selection was impressive with no limit on amount you could take. I really appreciated the customer lift which was quiet and easy to... More

The room was very clean and the bathroom newly refurbished. The halls smelled a bit like new carpet's glue, but i assume it should be gone fast. It is close to a side entrance to the Kensington Garden and there is a pub with nice fish and chips very close. Also, the sight seeing bus picks you up and drops... More

We sadly booked into here for 10 nights. The room we were in was NOT shown in any of their advertising. No aircon or fan, tiny room and tiny shower. The Bed was old and terrible, we may as well have slept on the floor. Free room wifi worked on and off, was more accesable in the breakfast room or... More

I stayed in the hotel due to its proximity to Hyde Park and due to its reasonable price. Staff were very helpful, and despite the room being located beside a road there was no problem getting to sleep. The room was quite warm and a bit small, but contained amenities such as a mini fridge, and WiFi was available too.... More

Dull and shabby. Booked a single room for a weekend as I was attending a concert in Hyde park (good location). The hotel room was tiny....I mean really tiny, like boxroom. There was no air conditioning and the bed was terrible. I won't book or use the hotel again 250 quid for a boxroom, no air conditioning and a single... More

Lovely rom and better than expected continental breakfast. Good value for a city break. Location quite good with buses and tube stations nearby. We booked quite late so were not expecting such good quality for the price.

Booking a budget hotel can often be a gamble so I wasn't expecting too much of my one night stay at the Troy Hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice staff from the receptionists to the breakfast waitress. Decent clean room and shower with toiletries. The breakfast was perfectly adequate, yogurts, cereals, croissants, toast etc. I would certainly stay... More
