When we arrived the staff were very nice but then went down hill I have a cheese allergy so one of the roll was just pickle and tomato and the smoked salmon had cheese in it I don't think I will be returning in a hurry

So I stay in London most weeks weeks and use a number of 5* hotels and have never had such a terrible room as I did last night in the Courthouse. I paid in excess of £200 for a room that would have been embaressing in a 3* hotel. The room, 609, had a carpet that was dirty and stained.... More

We were given a Virgin Experience voucher for Japanese afternoon tea at the Courthouse Hotel in Great Marlborough Street. When booking the tea we were told only the 15.00 hr booking was available, despite the statement that the tea was available from 15.00-17.00hrs. We were the only people having the Japanese Tea. The Courthouse Hotel has the advantage of being... More

Stayed at the Courthouse this weekend, great location, quiet room with hotel staff that were generally pleasant and helpful; all was going well until we made the mistake of venturing into the spa on the morning we were checking out. We were met by a member of staff who appeared to be somewhat challenged in the customer service skills department... More

Stayed in The Courthouse before. This hotel's location just off Regent St is excellent for shopping on Oxford Street, Oxford Circus tube station and getting buses around London. I booked three nights in a standard room, but was upgraded to a deluxe room free of extra charges and it was a lovely room. There is a small swimming pool, gym... More

I was pleasantly surprised on the location, spitting distance from Liberty, close to Regent st and 5 mins from Victoria line, very handy as I came from Gatewick. The room was nice, but not flawless, with a tub and odd shower hand wand, a stand up shower would have prefered. As another traveller mentions, the wi fi didnt work in... More

Using gift voucher for Champagne Afternoon Tea (10 March). Thoroughly disappointing experience. Despite published menu showing variety of finger sandwiches and pastries, we were served lukewarm Champagne and uninspiring bread rolls and sliced baguettes with 4 consisting of cheese and tomato fillings! The cakes were miniature and dry and we had to request some additional different fillings for the rolls.... More

After a long journey from Australia, I was very pleased to stay in this very clean and comfortable hotel which was very conveniently located. I would happily stay here again. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet and my stay included breakfast and wifi.

I’ve twice tried to arrange things at this hotel, on one occasion a cinema viewing and another time an afternoon tea. When I tried to arrange the cinema viewing the staff redirected my call several times then left it ringing without an answer, so I emailed them and no one got back to me. On another occasion I tried to... More

Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very central, just yards from Carnaby St and over the road from Liberty's. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and well appointed. One little quibble: at breakfast the tea was supplied from a thermos-type jug, an individual teapot would have been so much better (and more in keeping... Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
