Only stopped one night, wish it was more. Lovely rooms. helpful staff and BEST breakfast ever. Nothing was too much trouble. Handily located for many attractions and only a ten minute walk from the tube. Will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately only stayed for one night in the Hotel, as we came to London for a theater trip. The Hotel looks absolutely stunning from the outside and in the foyer. Was greeted by the most friendly staff who were very helpful - especially the doorman. The hotel was clean and had everything you'd need. ( it was a bit small... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Xenia. Lovely, friendly staff, great decor, good food, very convenient for shopping, restaurants, theatre and museums. Loved the decor and our small, but very clean and comfy room. Breakfast was excellent and we felt very relaxed in the bar with our complimentary glass of bubbly! Would stay again.

Booked this hotel through travelzoo and got a great deal. Couldn't fault it. The staff were all nice and friendly. The room was attractive, clean and had everything you could need. We had an executive room which was a good size. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was superb. Near to both Earls Court and Gloucester Rd stations so... More

The rooms are truly tiny but for a short stay are perfectly acceptable. All the staff were excellent and truly welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfasts with lots of choice. In easy walking range of the underground.

We thought the location of the Xenia was just wonderful. Just a few minutes walk from the tube stop on the Picadilly line you get to and from Heathrow. With three tube lines intersecting we always were close to wherever we wished to go in London. But the nicest thing about the Xenia was there welcoming staff and well appointed... More

Stayed in hotel with my daughter and enjoyed the friendly and international atmosphere and helpful staff. Nice area with close distant to many museum, sites and shopping areas. The room was a bit small, but as base for exploring London everything worked fine.

Hotel is very near Earl's Court underground, 10 minutes maximum. Neighbourhood is very nice and there are several restaurants around that looks quite good. The staff is very nice and polite; the room very comfy and clean; breakfast is so good!! Great choice if you want to have a perfect experience in the city.

What a good stay we had from initial entrance to final check out. The staff were very polite and efficient. The room was in exellent condition and very comfortable. The breakfast choices were very good. The full English was well cooked and presented.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
