I'm a New York City tour guide on vacation in London. I love the Ruskin. I booked three nights at Booking.com for £51 per night. Yeah. £51 for London. The hotel is modern and clean. The rooms are small but you didn't come to London to hang out in a hotel room. The bed and bedding is comfortable. The bathroom... More

This is a great hotel with space to move about, and this extends to the single rooms, as well. Hotel staff are courteous and professional from staff at reception to the those that lay out breakfast. Breakfast takes place in the pub on the ground floor which is spacious. Breakfast is a buffet of scrambled Eggs, Sausages, Baked Beans, various... More

Comfortable 3-night stay. We had a clean room on the third floor. Hotel reception staff were helpful and friendly. As a budget hotel this ticks most of the boxes. Minor issues such as the flimsy quality of bathroom fittings, a sink plug that did not fit and noise disturbance from a faulty gutter/downpipe during rain, did not detract significantly from... More

The hotel is in a nice place surrounded by shops. There are so many options for food around this place. The hotel is very clean and nice and the beds are comfortable. The tube stop East Ham is 10 minutes walking distance. The hotel is easy to find as it is on a straight road to the tube stop. Enjoyed... More

A great hotel run by enthusiastic staff. Has its own closed off parking and/or plenty of parking just outside the hotel. Quick check-in, I had a single room, it was bigger than some double rooms I've booked at other hotels. The hotel is a new one so you would expect it to be tip-top in order and it is. The... More

We paid just £51 for a nights b&b at the Ruskin. You would be hard pushed to find better for twice the price in London. Just 5 mins walk from East Ham tube station, you get a super comfy bed, spotless bathroom and a great pub on the ground floor selling food and Fullers beer. What's not to like? The... More

My husband and I enjoyed a 2 night stay in order to visit the theatre (Jersey Boys - great show) and do a little sightseeing. This hotel offered clean warm and comfortable accommodation at a fraction of the price for a similar standard in central London. The staff were friendly, polite and dealt with our request for extra pillows and... More

Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find free parking inside a gated compound, and a clean modern interior. The pricing was extremely reasonable, and the quality of the service received was good. I stayed for 3 nights, and ate one night at the pub, the £10 3 course deal being more than I could handle. I specifically had the... More

We had such a lovely stay at this clean hotel with pleasant staff greeting us and meeting our every needs! It's in the heart of the East end which gives a friendly feel to the environment. Transport into London is very simple. P.s the pub next door is really fun to drink in and the food is good :-)

Stayed here for two nights mid February 2014. Trish and Yoko made my sister and I feel very welcome. It felt as though we were among friends and their flexible approach meant that it was really home from home. There is a lovely dining room and lounge where we sat comfortably and chatted with our hosts. There is plenty of... More
