Everything about this place was as you'd expect in a travelodge. Clean,functional,cheap,basic....it ticks all the boxes. However, two points to note for people choosing this travelodge over any other. The area isn't great. The walk down the main Street in Woolwich from the DLR (about 5-10 mins) isn't the nicest at night. Secondly, the staff situation at night seemed a bit of a... More

I was booked into this hotel along with 6 other colleagues for a 5 night stay, unfortunately our company also paid for breakfast and evening meal here aswell. Amongst the highlights of our stay 1 person had 3 builders trying to get into her room as they had been booked into th esame room, 1 person was given a hairdryer... More

helpful staff and plenty of free parking for guests. cafe on site and travelodge do a pretty good pizza for reasonable money. room well decorated and clean. down side, blocked sink, very limited television channels. lot of noise late. breakfast is travelodge typical, if you don't want a barely edible dried out plateful, get up early!

We have recently returned from a weeks stay in Woolwich. (24th - 31st may) This hotel is situated the main hight street close to shops and is a 30 min ride on the DLR out of london. Great views on the way! Our stay was during the aftermath of the recent murder of a solider. On arrival we used the... More

Booked this Travelodge for £24 for a double room as attending gig at the O2. Arrived about 14.45 and expected to have to wait to book in but was pleased to be able to do so straight away. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for our overnight stay. Those who expect extras at Travelodge always surprise me as they... More

Stayed here with friends in another room. I had a double overlooking the railway and while you can forget sleeping with the window open I certainly found no problems with train noise. Friends had a family room overlooking Powis Street and that was enormous..........and again no problem with noise once they were closed, Both rooms were clean and fresh looking... More

We stayed at this Travelodge for 2 nights over the Bank Holiday and had no complaints. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and compact - all you need as you're only really in there to sleep. Transport links were good and lots of local shops/eateries that are probably cheaper than the centre of London. Would definitely... More

Great travelodge. 5 mins walk to transport link. Tube, rail or river bus all go into the centre of London. We took the rail link into Charing cross aprox 30mins. Our room appeared to be newly furnished and very clean. The lady on reception was very helpful and informative so can't complain. My wife is vegetarian so we didn't bother with... More

Please see my comments below regarding my stay in the Travelodge at Woolwich 1.Hotel would not allow me to leave my luggage at reception an hour before check in without incurring a charge 2.When I eventually got to my room there was no toiletries in the bathroom whatsoever apart from a used piece of soap 3.With my experience up to... I booked this travelodge for two nights in May (I paid £37.50 per night for room only). It was the cheapest hotel in the area. We arrived by DLR at Woolwich Arsenal station. Take the "Town Centre" exit from the DLR. The hotel is at the far end of Powis Street. The street is full of shops and fast food... More
