This hotel is easily acceptable for the tourist side of London. Within a 15-20 min walk to the London Eye. Perfectly acceptable for a family trip even with two young children ages 9 and 6. The food was of a very good quality and price.

I have stayed in many hotels all over the country and stayed at this hotel now 6 times, but I am particularly impressed with this hotel: each time I have had great service, lovely staff, courtesy, smiles, helpfulness, can't do enough for you: qualities you usually expect only in a 4 - 5 star hotel, provided at this hotel at... Tucked away in a back street, this city centre hotel was surprisingly quiet. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. Bedroom & bathroom very clean (typical Premier Inn), with shower that detaches from the wall (our room did not have a bath-tub – only a shower). Heating/air-conditioning worked well too. Breakfast was the usual Premier Inn standard – take heed... More

Stayed three nights. Good central London location. Tucked away from main roads. Had ground floor room with no traffic noise whatsoever. Quite unusual. Modern room and bathroom, better than the average premier inn. Food was usual lacklustre fare but the place has easy access to any number of alternatives. Staff very attentive.

We had a lovely stay at the Premier Inn. The staff were really, really friendly, the food was very reasonably priced for 2 adults and 2 children. Location 2 mins from Blackfriars station and close to the river. Exceeded expectations, will be back!

I've been here before on business so I booked it for a leisure 2 night stay. Yes it's a Premier Inn, but really rather high quality and competitive with bigger brands in London. Clean rooms, nice bar. I was on the 7th floor where there was no noise at all. The staff here are wonderfully polite and helpful, special thanks... More

Stayed here recently and whilst I thought expensive for a Premier Inn ( £150 per night during the week which went down to £79 for the Friday night ) , I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Good location just around the corner from Blackfriars Tube station on the Circle Line . Rooms are clean and of a good standard. Comfortable... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
