I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. I found the hotel to be adequate, with a comfortable room and a very good bed. It would have been worth a better rating had the hotel: 1) Had a gym 2) Been able to press my shirts (they do not have an in-house laundry service, and I needed shirts pressed... More

Nice hotel, good standard, really good deals on breakfast + dinner. It was really super to stay in family room with family. Staff helpfull and nice. Easy to get to from Gatwick. And depending on what you want to do in London of course, but we found it to be a great location with walking distance to London Towers, St... More

Staff were very friendly. However there were huge plumbing problems throughout my stay, loud screeching noises that woke me on several occasions, I was offered to swap rooms but never once offered the 'good nights sleep or your money back guaranteed' also with it being my birthday they said they would bring a cake to the room and this never... Enjoyed a short stay in London and this hotel was a great central base. Just 5 mins walk from Blackfriars station and underground. A lot of central London's sights are nearby or a short tube trip away. The room was pleasent enough, clean and quiet. Price was fairly good given central location

I stayed one night for business as a single female traveller. The location was very convenient being just a two minute walk from Blackfriars station and I felt safe walking back to the hotel after dark. The room was basic but clean, although frustratingly my kettle was broken so I couldn't make my morning cuppa! Breakfast was a buffet style... More

I've stayed here a couple of times before and had no hesitation going back. It's well located, just 2-3 mins walk from Blackfriars tube station. Check in takes seconds and the staff are really nice. Bedrooms are clean and functional, as you'd expect from the brand. Bed is comfy. Heard almost no noise when there. Good choice for breakfast, continental... More

Another great stay in premier inn. Great location- just 5 minutes walk to the tube station. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean bright and had everything we needed. The meal deal with dinner and breakfast was excellent and there was a good selection. We will be back.

Conveniently situated close to Underground, rail, bus and river transport to all the major sites and attractions in the West End, the City and beyond. Beautifully clean and amazingly friendly... Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
