We stayed in this hotel during a family short stay of 3 days in London. The hotel is extremely well positionned for visiting Central London, the Blackfriars underground station within walking distance of the hotel. All staff are wonderfully helpful, rooms are clean and tidy. There is also a choice of a Sainsbury or Tesco Express where you can grab an inexpesive... More

I highly recommend this hotel. To begin with all the staff members were extremely helpful and professional, in particular Matt provided us with so much useful information. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. Cleanliness was also a big plus. The breakfast was good and the hotel's position is great.

The staff are wonderfully helpful, rooms are clean, breakfast is good, & location is 1.5 block from the tube! The rooms were slightly small for 4 people but the children did each have their own bed. There is also a small grocer on the way to the tube for drinks &/or a fresh, inexpensive meal. A pleasant experience indeed!

Our short stay in London came with some worries because we left it till the last minute to book and suddenly we saw a rise in hotel prices, typical of big cities! This was our first stay in a Premier Inn and it was GREAT!! You can't beat it at this price. Location was good as well with good transport... More

Hotel was right next to Blackfriars station which meant underground and train station right at your doorway. Staff were caring and very friendly. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Food was lovely and they even do happy hour 2 for 1 on all drinks between 6-8pm

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blackfriars Premier Inn. Excellent location for all Central London attractions & short walk from Blackfriars tube station and the Victoria Embankment. Great service and reception at the hotel. Great value & highly recommended! If you want to visit Central London- look no further!

Premier Inn London Blackfriars was a great find (through TripAdvisor recommendations). Accommodations were sparse and small but very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent and very close to the "Hop On, Hop Off" Double-decker Red Bus tour line...but also within easy walking distance of many attractions. Hotel staff were very accommodating and pleasant. On site bar and dining service lacked... More

The staff was great! They helped us with getting food in a hurry and helping us find alternative routes to HP studio since our original plans were forced to change due to the tube strike the next day. You can tell the rooms feel like a budget hotel but they were clean and we felt extremely safe. The location was... More

Went to visit family in London and to see the big attractions, it was a very clean hotel staff very welcoming, easy to come and go, train station across the road, tesco round the corner, very close to most things. Room was spacious and clean just big enough for what we needed, would visit here again and star at this hotel

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
