Stayed here for a business trip. Whole experience was very good. Receptionist's welcome on arrival was helpful. Room was small but fine and had everything I needed. It was expensive but in a great location - short walk to St Pauls, Millennium Bridge etc. Breakfast was excellent. There were lots of staff available at all times. But seriously, why do... More

We stayed here for 3 days and is a pretty good value. It is within walking distance of St. Paul's cathedral as well as the Black Friars tube station. The staff was very attentive to any of our requests. I would definitely stay there again.

A fantastic value hotel in a great location for visiting London. The restaurant food and service surpassed our expectations and all the staff at hotel went over and above. Nothing was too much trouble and we were regularly asked if we were happy with our stay. We were even checked in a couple of hours early as our room was... More

This hotel is very well located to spend some days visiting London. Its staff is very nice and make your stay very confortable. The rooms are big enough. We stay in a family room and we were four, with two extrabeds without extracharge. Breakfast was free for children! It was our daughters first visit to London and we enjoy the... More

It was a pleasant 20min Thames River walk to Covent Garden every morning. No need for transport. Quiet location, well serviced. Fast check in & out. They have a luggage storage room. Rooms are perfect except no fridge or safe. Very good power shower and comfortable beds

My first stay at a Premier Inn and I would highly recommend the Dorset Rise London Premier Inn. Lovely informative welcome; polite, professional staff and above all an extremely clean and comfortable room.

This has to be the best Premier Inn in the UK. The first thing that hits you is the welcome from staff that really care and are clearly well trained. From booking in to advise where to catch a bus, to how you are enjoying your stay to a friendly smile when you need it, they are all excellent. The... More

We've visited this hotel a couple of times now, and it's our default choice when visiting London. The hotel is in a mostly office based area though there are some pubs nearby. It's very close to Blackfriars tube and also buses along Fleet Street, so is good for public transport. Breakfast is excellent and we haven't had to wait for... More

Hotel is just ok nothing spectacular. Service could be better. I do not like because you need to pay for wi-fi. It is very close to everything-good location. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was average........

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
