Stopped here with my Partner for one night when we were visiting friends nearby. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the location (I usually stop right in the centre/Knightsbridge/Mayfair area); I did feel a little out my depth at night, but for the price and the fact we were meeting friends in the City of London near St Pauls,... Nice hotel, so much better value than staying in central London. Near to East Aldgate and Whitechapel tube stations (Whitechapel much closer) It isn't the nicest neighbourhood in London but we liked it. Felt safe walking about, even at night but I can see why some people might not be. Room large. Bed incredibly comfortable. Everything worked. Staff helpful. Would... More

Nice rooms at a very affordable price. Very kind and effective staff. Policy of the Hotel is very flexible: I had to change a reservation on booking.com but it was non changeable and refundable. I called the hotel and they directly changed my reservation.

I stayed in this hotel for one night in November 2014. I am a wheelchair user and was visiting London for a hospital appointment. Therefore I needed to be near the Royal London Hospital, which was only a few minutes walk from this location. The hotel itself is a hidden gem. Amongst the streets of East London, I was pleasantly... More

I stayed here only for one night at an amazing price of 65 GBP. My modern-furnished room was small but fab- nice Italian shower and great toiletries. The staff at the reception is very helpful. Smooth check-in & check-out. Great Wi-Fi. I would doubt if everyone liked its location, but for me, it was amazing. I love East London and... More

Spent a night here while in London for a birthday. You want really expect to see a boutique hotel in this area, its on the corner of New Rd and Fordham St. Receptionist was helpful with quick check in and then up to the second floor to our room which was facing onto Fordham St which meant it was quieter... A relatively new hotel, which was spotlessly clean and well furnished. The area (Whitechapel) might be a little confronting for some people, but I couldn't fault the hotel in any way. Free wifi was good, I had a very silent room, and the staff at reception were always friendly and served me with a smile. My only criticism was that... More

I was rather suspicious about the hotel as I did not expect much paying under 80GBP per night. The hotel very pleasantly surprised me and I would come back when staying on a budget in London. The room was small but very nicely furnished, and ingeniously equipped. The bed was very comfortable, wifi worked well, tea/coffee facility, minibar. I really... More

hmm, expected more from this hotel. okay the rooms are modern, deco is clean, but bathrooms are very small. dining is at reception area and the staff does not pay attention to their guests. upon checkout the lady did not even look at me but prefered to check her monitor (or mobile phone). The location is okay as walking distance... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on a business trip. Over the weekend I did some clothes shopping, and left it in a bag in my room. The next day during the cleaning the bag was removed with a couple of items still in it. The bag was not in the dust bin. I never saw these items... More

Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel.
