I was booked in on a business trip and shared facilities were an issue but I found that I had been upgraded to the Clarendon over the road. This has happened to others and I must say I was impressed. If you book the Clarendon you will have a good room and the breakfast is also good. I am able... More

We had 2 rooms which were adjacent for ourselves and the three children. Both spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds with plenty of space, a sofa, free wi-fi , and a small kitchenette. great value for money and right next to the british museum, 5-10 min walk from tottenham court road end of oxford street, 10minute lovely walk to Euston, The... Overall appearance of this hotel seems acceptable and the prices are reasonable for London however the room we had was cold and there was no thermostat on the wall (as you'd expect in a £19 Travelodge!). London traffic is clearly heard from early hours in the morning through the single glazed windows. We were staying on business and we found... More

This is a review of the non-ensuite rooms at the Grange Lancaster. Stayed for four days at the Grange Lancaster. I chose this hotel as it was the most affordable option in central London, available at about £50 a night. The catch? The room was not a true ensuite, it had its own shower but has shared toilet facilities. Well... More

A solid hotel for what we were looking for: a base near a friends house. Pretty quiet street, ok breakfast (there are two choices). Beds were very firm, had to ask for another pillow, and the heat in the room was hard to manage. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. On arrival the staff were very friendly and gave me all the information required. My room was clean and comfortable and overall the hotel was quiet so I got a good sleep. The location is possibly it's greatest asset - just a tube stop from King's Cross. I will keep... More

This hotel is in a great location, less than a minute to the British Museum and a short walk to the West End and the Thames. It's on a quiet street making for an undisturbed sleep. Morning breakfast is adequate, with various simple choices. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Though the toilet is shared, it's very clean. In... More

I was offered this hotel by a booking agent when they cocked up with my original booking. I was expecting it to be fully ensuite as per my original requested hotel. Hence sharing a toilet with three other rooms was not what I was expecting. Looking at the floor plan on the fire instructions my floor had a male a... More

We booked this hotel purely for its location as we were visiting the Theatre and wanted somewhere close. It was perfect. We had a double bedroom with en suite shower and shared bathroom. overlooked the Gardens. Totally adequate for a short stay. The staff were helpful and polite although foreign. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The... More

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions.
