The location is good close to Holborn, Russell Square or Covent Garden tube stations. The staff is very friendly. I was in room#6 at lower floor and was scared about the noise, but Bedford Place it was quiet during the night. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Very pleasant hotel, close to all amenities with very efficient staff. Comfortable room. Our 3rd visit to this hotel and we will keep on coming. It certainly helped to make our weekend break special. Highly recommended

If you're looking for an affordable, clean, central location in London, you need to consider this place! Really great spot, the staff are amazingly helpful, and the rooms were spotless, warm, and spacious! 5mins from the Holborn tube station, and only a 10min stroll to Covent Garden/Soho/Westend.

A very pleasant hotel in the heart of London, literally a minute from the British Museum. The staff are marvellous and the rooms are excellent. A good breakfast (full or continental). I have to visit London on a regular basis and this is now my hotel of choice.

One of many owned by Grange Hotels in this area. Again, it's in a classic terraced row and retains much of its period charm. The building and its rooms are clean, warm and well-kept. Staff are efficient and helpful. Unlike other Grange Hotels, there is a reliable broadband connection included in the room price. Be advised however that if you... More

My mom and I stayed at the Grange Lancaster Hotel for 4 nights in December 2015 before Christmas. On our second night before going to bed, we noticed a few bites on our bodies, which we didn't think much of at first. After waking up the next morning, we noticed more bites on our arms, legs, feet, and stomach. We... More

The Grange Lancaster Hotel is situated among other Grange-owned hotels on Bedford Place. It's located pretty much in the middle of the block along a row of similar looking buildings, so just keep your eyes peeled for the correct Grange hotel sign. As for the lobby, it's a small area that doubles as the hotel's bar/lounge. The property is clean,... More

My daughter booked afternoon tea for us. We arrived to find the dinning room busy, ok so it's Christmas, but the tables were placed in what I can only describe as the corridor leading to the dinning room. There were three men enjoying a very loud and liquid lunch, ok so it's Christmas but there was NO atmosphere, no lovely... More

Yes to location and cleanliness. Efficient and helpfull staff. The only things missing was a fridge, an iron desk with a table and a little safe in the room though. Besides that I really enjoyed my stay

Boutique hotel, smart, swish and convenient. Had a fab time, god location, easily walkable to the West End/theatre land, 5 mins walk from Russell Square tube station. All the class of the larger grange hotels but a few pounds cheaper, not the largest room in the world but everything you would need for a short break, loved it.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
