I booked the Adria as a 30th birthday surprise for my husband and I. What a wonderful hotel, the decor is beautiful with lots of little extra touches. The staff were fantastic, for example, finding a bottle of water on our bedsides and slippers on the floor for when we returned at night. I was aware that the hotel is... More

Me and my Boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights commencing 27th December. On arrival we were welcomed and offered a hot beverage which was very nice as our journey to London had been a nightmare. The staff were very friendly and attentive. When calling room service, the response was very speedy. The bathroom had lovely underfloor heating, a tv in... More

My daughter and I stayed her as part of her 18th birthday celebrations. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, we dropped our bags off first thing on the Thursday morning as we had a busy shopping day planned. My daughter and I absolutely loved the décor throughout the entire hotel. Rooms were a little bit on the small side but... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. We were upgraded to the Elizabeth Suite which was a lovely treat. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you could wish for - including complimentary drinks :). The room was sited on the 4th floor which meant it had great views towards South Kensington, The Shard and... More

We stayed here recently for two nights for my birthday weekend. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who took our details and let us leave our bags as we arrived prior to check-in time. When we later returned and were shown to our room, my boyfriend had arranged for some flowers to be in... More

Lets start the other way around. The hotel has excellent value for money. It is new fresh and comfy. Staff very attentive. The location is excellent. Very close to museum area and Harrods. Stayed at Elizabeth suite, one of the top rooms. This hotel is out of the ordinary. A couple of things, like the fact that no alcohol is... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed 5 nights at the Adria in October 2015, and it was everything I expected, and more! The staff were extremely helpful, polite and accommodating, the ambience and decor were fantastic, and location was perfect. The fact it is a dry hotel did not bother us, and the hotel was perfectly ok in us bringing alcohol... More

A high standard of decor, architectural charm and intended comfort. If that's all you want in an ideally placed pampering small London hotel experience, look no further. Unfortunately we found the service standard was disappointing. Our suite wasn't cleaned when it should've been, breakfast pastries, fruit and salad were looking as though they'd seen better days, the safe wasn't working... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
