I can't fault this place; the service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the rooms were beautifully presented and kept clean even during the day. We stayed for a night whilst visiting London for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Make sure you understand it's a 'dry' hotel but they do allow alcohol to be taken to the rooms. Would... More

I found this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. It offered very good value for central London, just £100 for a single room. Although the room was very small it was perfectly adequate for a night and very clean. Breakfast wasn't included but the mini bar in the room was complimentary - no alcohol though, so be warned. I'll... More

This boutique hotel is tastefully and professionally done up using quality material. It's location being in Kensington is also very good and walking distance to many famous museums, Harrods and some of the palaces. The hotel is also being serviced by two subway stations. We took two rooms for 3 days and the rooms are very big and adequate for... More

We had a superb suite (Victoria) which was one of the best rooms we have stayed in for a long time. Excellent bathroom with great showers, a very comfortable lounge and one of the best beds we have come across for ages. Decor is understated high quality without trying to show off. Perfect! The staff were efficient and courteous. We... More

The Adria is wonderfully situated in South Kensington close to tube stations, museums and any number of good cafes and restaurants. It is very stylishly decorated and our room was spacious and very luxurious. Fabulously comfortable bed, large marble bathroom, many extras such as bathrobes and slippers, heated floor in the bathroom, heated towel rail, hidden safe, writing desk, plenty... More

I whisked my wife here for her birthday in June and stayed for two nights. Amazing luxury, friendly staff, left a little platter of fruit with happy birthday message as a nice touch. Stunning decor throughout and generally a very high standard of finish. Our bathroom tv wasn't working which was disappointing as a glass of birthday bubbly in the... More

Stayed for one night at the Adria Hotel in Queens Gate. A boutique experience. Clean, modern and stylish with fantastic placement to really enjoy your stay centrally. On arrival were taken into one of the wait rooms. They seemed to forget about us. So hubby and I were tweedling our thumbs, wondering what we were waiting for. We assumed our... More

We found a great deal on the Adria Hotel and decided to give it a try. We were put in the "Globe" room and it's fantastic! The bathroom is HUGE, the room is spacious, and the bed is comfy. The staff is excellent and food has been great as well! My only recommendation would be to request a room on... More

We usually stay in big chain hotels but I decided to stay in Adria because the price was reasonable and it was new. I was very impressed with the personalized service. Mercie, front desk, was very accommodating. They even had a Turndown service. Anything in the mini bar was free. We really loved it.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
