We booked this hotel for 2 nights from 7th July. We were slightly worried about the hotel given previous reviews of this and other easyhotels but we have to say they couldn't be more wrong. When we got there we were greeted at reception. Granted he seemed a little bored but we soon forgot about that. The room: We booked... More

It is the most simple hotel I've ever seen. It even don't have a table to put my phone on! It's not very important for me anyways but the price was not very competitive, the premier inn was even cheaper than easyHotel! It was the first time I stay at easyhotel and I promise, I will never stay there!

I have been to other Easyhotels, and this is by far the worst I have stayed at. I booked in for a few nights at this hotel. Although I slept ok (mainly because I was very tired), this hotel provides sleep in squalid conditions. The Easyhotel Old Street / Barbican is in a poor state of repair, run by staff... More

It is a shame that I have had to rate this hotel one star, but it is not without good reason. I stayed mid-week, sole traveller. There was a very bad issue with noise - due to doors that bang when they are opened/closed.(there was one strange chap who kept going in and out of his room) It is a... More

Needing a hotel room near the City at short notice during a week with several events on is never easy in London... But the price wasn't very reasonable at £70 for an window room - the next closest was an Ibis at £170). The building is slightly odd, being shared between short-term office space and a hotel. However, check-in was... More

I would encourage anyone on a tight budget who wants to stay in a central location in London to consider this hotel. It's not pretty. There are no frills. The toilet is very small and every morning offered the option of fighting with the shower curtain of wearing it! Having said all of that, the bed was comfortable and the... More

Good price and good location, but the bathroom is very small and room not very sound-proofed I'm 6ft 4 and I could not physically have a shower in the morning, the fact that when the shower curtain closes the sink is in the shower with me isn't exactly ideal. Could hear noises all night from other rooms and corridor, so... More

I stay in this hotel every week for a couple of nights for work and whilst it is not 5* it does offer great value. The fourth and I think fifth floors have recently been renovated and do not have the built in plastic bathrooms. They also have in room air-conditioning and new beds. For what you pay they are... I stayed at the Easyhotel for 2 weeks while on a study abroad trip. The rooms are very minimal but clean.Very close to 2 tube stations. The bad: the thermostat didn't work in many of the rooms. If you stay, get a room on floors 3 & 4. They control the thermostat! It was so bad for some guests that they... More

We checked in for a two-night stay at the beginning of June and only ended up staying the one night before moving to alternative accommodation. We were prepared for the small room and lack-of-window. What we weren't prepared for was the bathroom flooding into the bedroom, the air-conditioning not working at all (especially on a 25-degree day), the bathroom door... More
