at first we were dissapointed because the room looked like a boat room, tiny and basic; however it is really cheap and well situated so I think it worth. Rooms are clean and have everything needed, even if they are really small. Bus and subway are close and the square is safe. Furthermore there are several supermarkets around if needed.

We got some tickets for the Jack the Ripper tour so thought we may as well stay in Whitechapel for the night. Hotel is in a perfect location with some great pubs near by. It's what it says Budget, room was very basic but spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. Room was warm and cozy with shower basin... More

We stayed for 5 nights for my birthday. The room is very standard, very clean on arrival, with the toilet door not locking, you would have to be very comfortable with the person you are staying with and also with the shower being practically see through and opposite a mirror. The bed was comfortable for me but my boyfriend didn't... More

The hotel is generally very well located if you like to explore East London: Bring Lane is very close, Shoreditch, Hackney, Old St. etc. are reached within minutes. The 25 double decker brings you to Oxford Circle in 20 Minutes and it stops right in front of the hotel. Aldgate East Station (Hammersmith & District Lines). The rooms sleeps three... More

The hotel was clean, modern and well positioned. However budget it was, I didn't expect the shower to be in the room itself, and the toilet in what only can be described as a cupboard. Not great if you want a little privacy when getting changed. Its a shame that ALL the rooms are the same so you cant even... More

Ibis Budget Hotels are made to offer you a good night of sleep and this one does exactly this. Their rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. The wifi is free and their services works really well. You have to consider in trying their breakfast before thinking in going out, it is not expensive in relation to its quality. It is... More

I stayed at the Ibis Budget Whitechapel for 2 times now and definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a clean and budget friendly hotel near the city center of London (just some minutes’ walk to Aldgate East tube station zone 1). The rooms are spacious, cleaned every day, no carpet on the floor, very practical and they have free... More

My daughter and I stayed here on a one week trip to London. It was everything we wanted, a quiet and clean location from which to explore the city. We were extremely happy. Yes the rooms are basic and small, but if you are looking for somewhere to sleep as you explore the wonderful City of London on a reasonable... More

Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel.
