Great location but understaffed. Bar Cafe was a good size with ample seating. Menu looked good although we didn't eat there during our stay. Good range of soft drinks. Free wi-fi for 30 minutes which was a let down really.

Rooms dusty, Cups and glasses at breakfast dirty, sticky tables and overall no good impression of hygienic Standards. Floors are not well maintained also. The only good Thing was the comfort of the bed, I had a good sleep.

This hotel would have gotten 4 from me but for the lack of a hairdryer. I knew in advance of arrival that it would be difficult to 'borrow' one so brought my own. For business travel this can mean the difference from checking or not checking a bag through the airport. I'm astonished that any hotel - budget or otherwise... More

I attended a trade show at the Excel and I found this hotel for a 1 night stay. Because I flew over from Barcelona I arrvied at the hotel for 10am ish. I though I would try my luck and check in early. I was charged a 10 pounds early check in fee but check in was easy and the... More

Stayed on a Sunday night so it was fairly quiet. All normal Travelodge things were there With a really good shower. Room was quiet and little movement around the hotel late at night. Evening meal was standard Bar café fayre. Breakfast was good with staff keeping an eye on the hot food to ensure that there was plenty of choice.... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights as it was a decent price for london. The room was a nice size, very clean and nicely decorated. Obviously basic but expected for a travelodge. The reception and restaurant area was also clean and well appointed. Biggest complant was the noise at 2am, it was unbelievable! A lot of young people were... More

Stayed here during a business trip. The staff is friendly and the rooms have been recently renovated. It's clean. Tea and coffee maker in the room. Wifi is only included for 30 minutes and the breakfast is okay but doesn't have any fresh fruits.

I stayed at the travelodge excel in October 2014, for 3 nights. The rooms are small but not smallest for a hotel of this rate however is was sub standards when it comes to cleanliness. The shower still had traces of cleaning product on it. The curtain was stained. While in the restaurant I made the mistake of looking in... More

Just stayed at this hotel for a night. Easy to find just a few metres from Royal Albert DLR station. My son and I were first given a double room, I asked for a more suitable one for us and was then given a family room which had no curtains!! Again I asked for a more suitable room, this time... More

Was good from the word go and we did very much enjoy the stay even though we had been there on work but did look forward to go back and relax after a hard days work. Food and stay both complemented each other and i wish the team good luck.
