We stayed here for a weekend break. It was our first time away with our 4 month old baby, and hats off to Premier Inn they made it so easy! Premier inn never fail to disappoint. This hotel was in a great location, a short stroll to the southbank, the shard and borough market (all of which we enjoyed over... More

When you book a Premier Inn you feel that you know what you are getting. Rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable bed. However they are basic with no fridge. What sets this hotel apart though are its staff. Every single person I came into contact with delivered excellent customer service, friendly, attentive and willing to help. I would... More

Wonderful staff, especially Amber, Christina and Anastasia. Comfortable quiet and spotless rooms. Delicious food, excellent value and generous portions. Far more than one would expect from a hotel chain.

I stayed here for 1 night on business. The hotel is in a great location and very quiet. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was very good. We were lucky enough to find a free parking space outside the door until 8.00 the following morning - very rare in London! The room was a good size and... More

Stayed here for eight nights and really was impressed with staff and room. The location is perfect for our needs and interests. Ate one meal in the attractive dining room and was satisfied with it. (The bathroom tissue is fairly useless. I recommend you bring your own.)

Stayed for one night on 20th March while attending a concert in London. Every single member of staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was spotless, sheets were fresh and smelled lovely. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

Stayed with my family for 3 nights. The staff were so nice, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and good value for money. We ate there every night. No need to find anywhere else as there was so many items to choose from for adults and kids.

A great location, opposite Vinopolis, 15 minutes from London Bridge. A great base for exploring ion foot. Great friendly and helpful staff.Good size room with a great bed and not much noise.Pity about the lack of a plug for the sink and the bath/shower needs grab handles before there is an accident.

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
