We arrived early (10:30) from abroad but received a room, anyway. The room was very clean and the temperature controls worked well. In the evening, the room was fairly quiet, considering we were in the city. We were on the top floor (8), which may have helped. The location is very good, within 45 minute walk of the Tower of... We keep coming back to this hotel because of its good location, cleanliness and efficient, friendly staff. The breakfast didn't disappoint either - plenty of choice and time to enjoy the buffet. Thank you to the Premier team for all your efforts to provide an excellent service.

The team at this hotel were, without doubt, the most welcoming, friendly and service oriented I have come across in many a year....and it was a Premier Inn, not a 5 star hotel somewhere in London!! If anything they offered better service than other hotels I have stayed in that have many stars. Plus the food was good, the price... More

We stayed here for one night and we were really pleased - great customer service, good facilities in the room and fantastic we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room before and after check out. Only dropped to 4/5 as bed was a bit hard. Good location - only 5 mins to tube station

My wife and I stayed here in July with relatives and it was as have come to expect from Premier Inn – comfortable, clean and well maintained – but the prices are starting to rise towards what you can be paying in bigger brand hotels. Still good value, but take care please Whitbread. Really good location. It was reassuring to... More

Stayed three nights as part of a longer visit to London. You're about 15 minutes walk from the London Eye and Westminster, but there's also a tube station 2 mins around the corner if the weather has turned. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Not used the restaurant, so can't comment on that.

My partner and I came to stay in London for a two day visit. I chose this hotel for location and great value for money... it didn't disappoint! Staff are fantastic, friendly and efficient, they can't do enough for you... Would definitely consider staying again on any return visits.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean rooms and surprisingly quiet despite the busy environment. The night staff were most helpful and Katia was lovely to my daughter on the Thursday morning when she realised they shared Russian names- makes a real difference when you have the little extras.

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
