This hotel is small but excellent in many ways. It is close to central London. But it is on the rather peaceful Gower Street. Good service at the reception. Very good English breakfast in the basement. The basement room we had with three beds was small but clean and quiet during the night. But you had to put your suitcases... More

I had a small single room and it was really small, but well designed, so absolutely fine. Had ensuite, which many hotels for the price don't offer. The only problem I had was fitting my phone charger in the socket as the space around it is too small for anything bigger than a standard plug. Staff fine, breakfast as you... More

I stayed here two nights, paid £50 each per night with a friend! Pleasantly surprised by the modern rooms and they were so clean!! The hotel had an excellent location right next to googe street station and only 15 minutes walk from Oxford street! Hotel staff polite and very helpful, let us leave our suitcases in reception all day after... More

I paid £65 for a room and breakfast - did n't eat breakfast - date elsewhere but the room was perfect. o.k! it was small but perfectly appointed, yep with the window open there was a bit of traffic noise - hey this is central London! Yes I walked up stairs to get to the room - this is what... More

This hotel is located in a very central location which is great, the rooms are clean and perfectly formed, the hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. We paid £95 for a dbl room, very cheep however the stairs are very steep with no lift. The breakfast room in the basement was very small and offputting, with a very inadequate breakfast.... More

Hotel is well located with clean comfy rooms. we were in basement but to the rear so very quiet. All night reception so felt very safe and staff were all friendly. Buss route passes the front to theatres, and central london. Round the corner from British Museum which is a must

This hotel is in an excellent location in Bloomsbury, halfway between the stations (Euston, St Pancras and Kings Cross) and the British Museum. It is good for the price. I had one of the single rooms for £60 a night with breakfast included, and this is not to be sniffed at in London. The room was tiny, approximately 5 square... More

Having stayed last night thought I'd better write it down while still fresh in my mind. Very clean, very welcoming, very neat, but extremely hot in all the rooms. I had the LG4 room, right next to the breakfast room. I managed to turn the heating down in my room, as you could have cooked with the heat given off,... More

For the price I paid, I didn't have very high expectations. However, when I arrived, the check in process was quick and I was very pleased with my room. It was fairly small, but it was modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable! The delicious shortbread biscuits on offer were good too. Breakfast in the morning was good, a... More

I stayed in one of the 'cabin' rooms (sold on booking.com as a 'small single'). Just a bed, bedside table & en-suite with miniature fittings. It was below zero that night; the room had a single-glazed door behind the bed, a window along one whole wall and a laminate-on-concrete floor. It was so cold I wore my coat & hat... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
