The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, even hotels in 3rd world countries have been better. Paint falling off the wall, cobwebs, dirty sheets. Bad hotel staff. more like a -4 star hotel. Don't go!!!!!

I arrived and got into the room to find it one of the smallest rooms that I have been in my life. It is literally a door, bed and a small bathroom. barely any space to stand. The room was very warm and no air conditioning. The bed was comfortable but road noise was very high. When I checked in... More

Rooms are much smaller than nobody can ever imagine. Literally, you cannot keep your suitcase open and there is not even a closet to hang your clothes, it's almost claustrophobic. Staff is very unprofessional and not helpful. For breakfast, it’s impossible to get a “good morning”, really rude and not properly trained. The only positive thing is that it is... More

My wife & I visited London for a particular event & needed an overnight stay. The Bloomsbury Palace Hotel were able to offer us a room to accommodate the three of us at a reasonable rate. The hotel was also conveniently located for visiting the major sightseeing highlights London has to offer.

We booked a room at this hotel well in advance of the day we needed it. However, our appointment for the day was changed and so we contacted the hotel 7 WEEKS ahead of the date to ask if we could move the booking to the following day. The hotel was not going to lose any money as we were... More

I asked to change the booking to the next day after my business partners changed the appointment with 1 month's notice. Their answer - absolutely no way! Simply not possible. Even though I wanted the same room or better at the same price or more. So now I have to pay £125 for a room that they are going to... More

Rooms are small and it is a very noisy stress even with the window shut. Staff are ok they did sort out the issues I had in the room. Breakfast was fine as I did get an English breakfast every day and coffee was drinkable. Wifi was ok except for one day when it was completely down. There is no... More

Booked this hotel through booking.com sold to me as 4 star hotel. At best I would give it a 2. Rooms were small with no storage space. It was dirty, there was grime and dust, stains on the carpet and bed. The heat was unbearable. The breakfast was limited to either an awful english breakfast or cereals. Breakfast room was... More

Stayed there for a couple of days. Hands down..the smallest room i have ever stayed in. The breakfast room is also to small for the hotel, i had problems getting a table for breakfast both days. Its medium Clean, but still ok. The Wifi works great and the location is brilliant. Few meters from Goodge street Underground station and only... More

Very compact (small) rooms, but tidy and the bathroom was newly refurbished. Breakfast was served quickly and warm which was nice, but there was no fresh fruit - a real shame and downside. No airconditioning in the room, so it's a bit noisy if you have to leave the window open. My room looked out onto the main street and... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
