Budget hotel, white emulsion walls, no character. Single room really tiny - not even room for table or desk. Reasonably clean, breakfast OK. This hotel strictly for crashing - totally functional and practical; expect the very basics and you wont be too disappointed.

Stayed here whilst on business - as am self employed needed a reasonable priced hotel. Booked a single room and the price included free wifi and cooked breakfast. Yep the room was small, no a/c but you are close (very) to the window so not really a problem. The hotel is ideally located for central London - very good bus... More

I stayed in a small single room for one night. I checked in at about 1 am and was very pleased that reception was open and staffed. I got checked in very quickly and walked up the stairs to my room. The corridors had a very over-powering smell of air freshener which was not pleasant but luckily the room has... More

Was a little worried having read some of the reviews, but we were not at all disappointed with our stay at the Bloomsbury Palace. Having shopped around I could not find anything close to the price I paid that offered such a good location, en suite and with breakfast. The hotel is a 2minute walk from Goodge Street tube station.... More

So i booked a single room at this hotel for 2 nights purely for the central location. After reading reviews I was aware that my room would be small, wow it was practically broom cupboard small. I now know how Harry Potter felt living under the stairs! Although small the room was nice and clean and the bathroom was lovely... More

Stayed for one night. Got a good deal with breakfast included. Room was small, which was stated on website, but was nicely decorated and had all essentials. Receptionist Ismail was very polite, professional and helpful. Hotel is in a good location and it only takes 10 minutes to reach the west end. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Lovely hotel. A bit overpriced for this type of hotel. Decor was excellent, but was a bit disappointed when I saw mouse droppings in the room and on the tea facilities. Will not be going back sadly as it made me wonder about the overall cleaniless of the hotel catering facilities. If they have a rodent problem, they need to... More

Travelled here as 2 groups who both run Hotels. The staff were very helpful, very clean bedrooms and good breakfast. Only down side is the size of some of the bathrooms and also the breakfast area. I would consider this a very good Bed and Breakfast not Hotel. Yes I would stay again as very good location for theatre and... More

The hotel is pretty basic, and the room I had was very small at the top of the stairs and noisy on the street side. BUT! It was exactly what I needed. I was by myself for the weekend so basic was good. Walking distance to central London, tube close by, good wifi, very clean modern own bathroom, great breakfast,... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
