We recently stayed midweek in this hotel. Although when I initially arrived the hotel was immaculate , the whole room (on the third floor) was completely slanted and I felt myself rolling out of bed during sleep and woke up many times. The room was far too hot. Although breakfast was delicious, I felt it was too early along with... More

If it is location, location, location you are looking for and not bothered by space, warmth, cleanliness and value for money then this is the hotel for you. I had a one night stay booked in a single room. Needed a place to stay overnight with no frills. I do expect at £65 to have a bed I can fit... More

Stayed one night whilst on a business trip. Simple rooms but very clean. Breakfast was adequate and the staff took notice of my food allergies. Very small bathroom. Bed was very firm. Did feel more like a £60 room rather than the £80 I paid but I guess the extra charge is for location. Hotel would benefit from a refurbishment... More

I Would Not Recommend Booking A Single Room In This Hotel. No Space, No Wardrobe And Not Clean. Asked For Room Change But Was Told Not Possible.. The Net Curtain On The Window Was Dirty.. Would Not Stay Here Again.

The hotel was conveniently located to the London Palladium and made walking the best form to get around. The Hotel itself was welcoming but did have a constant smell of what I can only describe as aromatic food. The room was ok, but could do with a clean and possibly a refreshing lick of paint. Bedside tables were quite dirty... More

Budget hotel, white emulsion walls, no character. Single room really tiny - not even room for table or desk. Reasonably clean, breakfast OK. This hotel strictly for crashing - totally functional and practical; expect the very basics and you wont be too disappointed.

Stayed here whilst on business - as am self employed needed a reasonable priced hotel. Booked a single room and the price included free wifi and cooked breakfast. Yep the room was small, no a/c but you are close (very) to the window so not really a problem. The hotel is ideally located for central London - very good bus... More

I stayed in a small single room for one night. I checked in at about 1 am and was very pleased that reception was open and staffed. I got checked in very quickly and walked up the stairs to my room. The corridors had a very over-powering smell of air freshener which was not pleasant but luckily the room has... More

Was a little worried having read some of the reviews, but we were not at all disappointed with our stay at the Bloomsbury Palace. Having shopped around I could not find anything close to the price I paid that offered such a good location, en suite and with breakfast. The hotel is a 2minute walk from Goodge Street tube station.... More

Stayed here in December whist attending a Christmas party in Covent Garden, whilst the rooms are small, the location is excellent, breakfast is included and whist not exceptional was what I needed to start the day full English provided with coffee and juices plus a continental spread, rooms were clean and tidy. And reception open 24hrs the hotel offered free... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
