Tiny room but clean and had everything necessary for a one night stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms could do with better ventilation on a summers night. Overall this is average for the cost, the area is full of similar hotels and this is one of the better ones in this price bracket.

I stayed there for two nights for a conference despite the bad reviews thinking hmmm how bad can it be. I was wrong very very wrong. This place is really aweful to the point i can't even start. Just a few highlights. The rooms don't have aircondition but what is more the windows don't work properly. So you essentially need... More

I booked a single room for a weekend, and I've never seen a smaller room in my life! I had 1 tiny cabin luggage with me, and there I had to either put it on the floor and block the room door, or put it on the floor to block the bathroom door. I'm 5'10 / 177cm and my feet... More

This is reasonably priced hotel in good location, within easy walking distance of leichester square, oxford road (10 mins walk) and the tube (5 mins). The rooms are basic, my main complaint would be that there is NO storage, no drawers or wardrobe, just 2 coat pegs in the basement room (LG5) we were given. The remote for the TV... More

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, even hotels in 3rd world countries have been better. Paint falling off the wall, cobwebs, dirty sheets. Bad hotel staff. more like a -4 star hotel. Don't go!!!!!

I arrived and got into the room to find it one of the smallest rooms that I have been in my life. It is literally a door, bed and a small bathroom. barely any space to stand. The room was very warm and no air conditioning. The bed was comfortable but road noise was very high. When I checked in... More

Rooms are much smaller than nobody can ever imagine. Literally, you cannot keep your suitcase open and there is not even a closet to hang your clothes, it's almost claustrophobic. Staff is very unprofessional and not helpful. For breakfast, it’s impossible to get a “good morning”, really rude and not properly trained. The only positive thing is that it is... More

My wife & I visited London for a particular event & needed an overnight stay. The Bloomsbury Palace Hotel were able to offer us a room to accommodate the three of us at a reasonable rate. The hotel was also conveniently located for visiting the major sightseeing highlights London has to offer.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
