Good location, clean, and nice staff. Managed to switch from a room to the street to a room to the back. Gower street is quite noisy, and the hotel could use better windows to shut our the noise. Rooms are fairly small, but have everything you need with a nice quality bed and good shower.

Stayed at the Bloomsbury Palace Hotel for a weekend break.Close to everything and within easy walking distance to Shaftesbury Avenue, Trafalgar Square. Hotel basic but very clean and comfortable. Fresh towels every day. Breakfast was good a choice of cereal, yoghurt, fruit and a full cooked breakfast cooked to perfection. Staff really accommodating and nothing to much trouble. Facility to leave cases... More

I emailed our HR director to request no member of our team is ever sent to this ‘hotel’ again. The staff are clueless, the rooms dirty and the owner aloof/deceptive at best. I brought a compliant to their attention and we just got lie after lie after lie. I stay at hotels all around the country on a regular basis... More

I stayed for one night in the cheapest single room. Tiny, but perfectly adequate and comfortable. Clean, sparkling, compact shower room, and single bed, which fitted in to width of room. Hangers, TV. Everything needed for a £65 stay. Close to Goodge St, Euston and Tottenham Court Road stations, and a short walk to Oxford Street, Charing Cross Road and... More

Since we this time only spent 4 nights in London we wanted a hotel in an area where we don’t need to use the tube that much. So instead of Bayswater and Kensington we got a rate from the hotel that fitted our budget. The hotel is also an easy reach from Gatwick Express’s Victoria station. The room was already... More

5/10 min walk from Euston station, 4/5 mins from Goodge Street underground station! Amazing! Close by co op and pub too! Rooms comfortable, great shower and TV, good tea an coffee facilities with short bread biscuits! Breakfast was fine, good quality sausage in comparison with other central hotels at this price, reception helpful. Great for a touristy visit with room... More

If the staff were better I would have given it another star, but for me there were too many negatives to outweigh the positives. Yes, it's a good location, I found it very easy to get around. Yes, it was neat, clean and comfy. BUT The rooms are literally tiny, once my suitcase was on the floor, I had no... More

We were 3 in this room and you could barely move around. 3rd person sleeps on a sofa bed, and barely inches to pass through. On breakfast, don't you ever make the mistake of going late, otherwise, again since the place is TINY, you will have to wait and queue for a free table. And once you get a table,... More

If you're just spending a short time in London and just need somewhere to put your head down, then look no further. No frills and quite small rooms with very, very small shower rooms but it's nice and clean and centrally located. I paid £135 inc VAT and breakfast for three of us to stay here and I think thats... The hotel is small and at the budget end of quality but still highly priced. That's London I guess. You can expect it to be hot in the winter central heating and hot in summer as there is no AC. My single room was reasonably furnished but compact does not begin to describe it. Breakfast room is in the basement... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
