While I was studying abroad in France this past Jan./Feb. a group of 8 of us decided to take off to London for the long weekend. Unfortunately, as we had decided to book last minute there were very few hostels to pick from that had a room that could accommodate all of us at a decent price. We ended up... More

The only positive I could say about this hostel is that it has a well good location in a cool part of East London and only a short trip away from the city. It started off poorly right from the get go. It took 30+ minutes to check in (there was about 10 people trying to check in at once... More

After looking at the reviews I wasn't put of as I looked at the location and the character which looked great... Mice, noise, and rude staff didn't put us off. After booking via email with Jo I was really impressed at the quick response and a booking was made for 5 people in a private room. I then emailed 5... More

Ok, let's start from the positive: first, it's well placed in the city. Second and last, (almost) everyone that work there are very nice people and try to help you in all they can, but there are many things they can't control. The bathroom! I never saw such a small place, (it was hard to get undressed) and then have... More

Its just horrific. The reception did not have clue about bookings . The beds where filty as where the floors and bathrooms ... filth smeared on the walls . Do not stay here . Full of high teenagers making out in the corridors and noise no sleep all night !

Our room was situated directly above the queue outside a nightclub, as a result I got no sleep due to drunkards screaming and shouting till the early hours. Ruined my weekend in London as I was exhausted the whole time due to zero sleep. What a nightmare.

I'm pretty sure the receptionist was high. Like all the time. She was definitely not there mentally. But we both worked together and managed to get myself checked in. The room was awesome, very spacious & modern with a great bathroom. The bar & restaurant was heaps of fun, great burgers and lots of nightly pubcrawls. The area has allot... More

As soon as me and my friend walked through the door they kept is waiting for an hour to check in. Fair enough the receptionist was on his first shift but the lady guiding him was reluctant to help with menial requests whilst he was absent. There was an unexpected deposit for the room key at £5 for each key... More

I stayed here for one night after my flight got in very late. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bed was comfortable and the room was great! I really enjoyed my stay here. It's in one of the most fun neighborhoods in London.
