Close to Paddington station makes this a very easy place to stay. Staff are very obliging towards any request, even letting us in for an early breakfast. Recommend staying here for any traveler. Buses and trains everywhere to catch

The rooms where small, at night there were drunk people outside the hotel. Not clean, bad service. A horrible experience. They only serve breakfast until 9 so you have to wake up early. Two people can't fit in one room, there was absolutely no space.

I stay in this hotel last year and I was very well. Good value for money and also very well placed, at 5 minutes walking to Oxford Street and Marbel Arch. The room was small but clean and welcoming. The staff was very nice and disponible to help. I will probably stay there again when I will be back to... More

The worst is that the Tube passes by every two minutes - and I am not joking when I say it feels and sounds like it is less then 50 meters away, and we have not recieved any discount. This is way too overprized. We can not stay in the room before 11 o'clock at night for longer stretches of... More

First off, this is not the Ritz Carlton or the Hyatt Regency, rather a quaint and delightful hotel which we thought had a lot going for it. We had the pleasure of staying three nights and took into consideration some of the other comments on trip advisor so we knew going in that the rooms were not spacious and the... More

Stayed 3 nights in the Avon hotel. The hotel is a little dated, but clean. Our room was on the 3rd floor of the hotel and getting your suitcase to your room was a challenge, with no lifts and no offer of any help. The double room was very cramped, the bed small and not the comfiest, but that's personal... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Our room was very small. No space 2 open suitcases. Bathroom is extremely tiny and you have almost no space to turn around in the shower. Also, there was a step between the room and the bathroom, so at night, it can be dangerous. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Very narrow... More

Myself my husband and our teenage son spent 3 nights in the Avon. The good points of the hotel are the location and transport system, the staff are friendly, the room facilities(hairdrier, kettle flatscreen tv) and the breakfast. The bad points are the triple room was tiny and on the 4th floor(lots of stairs, steeper from the 3rd floor up)... More
