Everything you expect from a fab stay; the hotel offers true 5 star service with amazing rooms and great size for London. Compared to many hotels in London I would say that CirtizenM is great value for money and I am sure that we will stay there again. Staff are so polite and helpful and they went beyond the norm... The hotel decor itself is very impressive, love the quirky feel and relaxed atmosphere. I stayed here two nights (separate bookings) the first night my room was fab, so spacious, comfortable and well designed! The second time I stayed here my room was much smaller, and was quite difficult for 2 girls with lots of luggage to get ready in.... More

I felt myself part of an interactive modern art exhibition in this hotel. Every little piece of the concept challenges your senses and your thoughts. The very intelligent designed rooms are small, the bathroom is integrated in the space as a source of light, and the colours are up to you. Depends on your personality if you’ll fall in love... Spent one night at the Citizen M bankside in February 2014, this boutique style hotel is ideal for a short stay. I liked the minimalist styling and gadgety rooms which were more than adequate for our break. The rooms are all identical and aren't very big. An oversize bed takes up the whole end of the room under the window,... More

Booked here on the recommendation of a friend who's stayed in the one in Amsterdam. As soon as you walk in you feel at home, the lobby/bar/lounge area is warm and inviting. Check-Ins a breeze using the terminals and RFID keycards and the room was great. We had a hand written note welcoming us, a lovely touch. The rooms are... More

Finally the PERFECT hotel model! A place you want to be in (fun philosophy and great design), comfortable (the extra large king size beds in all rooms are amazing and the temperature, lighting, and media all controlled by a "moon pad"), great atmosphere and food, all at a price that makes it affordable enough not just to be an occasional... We usually go there after work and the environment is welcoming and relaxed. Good beer selection and nice / cosy layout help chilled out. The furniture are very modern and trendy and spaces are bigger enought to do not feel overcrouwded. Service at the bar during busy time can be slow so you need to be a little but patient

Great concept this hotel has. Although the room are very small but well equipped with nice gadgets, the best place of the hotel is the general area. It is not a lobby but a nice place to work and to relax (small bar) in the middle. Across the street a food market with reat hot dogs.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night on Valentines day, and we had the most incredible stay! I had been wanting to stay at a CitizenM for ages, and when we finally got round to booking, it was so much better than I had imagined! The room was incredible, I could have spend all day in there! Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
