My partner and I stayed at this "Travel Lodge" so as to visit friends for the weekend. However, the room was clean and comfortable. BUT, I would have thought the "Breakfast Box" just over £4 would have been included in the price. Therefore, we went to the "Weatherstone" restaurant along the high street and had a Breakafst for £4.65p which... More

Spent 1 night here on 13/12/14. We booked a family room for 3 adults. We were up in London for a party and didn't want to spend a fortune at this time of year when we just needed somewhere to crash for the night. We paid a total of £66 for the room. The room was roomy given that there... More

Room had what looked like fecal matter on the wall next to the bed, constant vibration noise into late evening and commenced early morning, window would not close fully creating a wind tunnel. Room cold and very noisy!

The room was a good size and the bed was excellent. The room was not to the expectation of the Internet photos. The upgrade was very basic and it has been done on the extreme cheap. The ventilation in the bathroom was faulty and resulted in cigarette smoke entering the bathroom

Minimal but very good hotel. It is about 20 minutes from London centre and well served by means of transportations. The room was clean and well furnished, the bathroom comfortable and people at reception are friendly and helpful. The only thing I did not like too much was that wifi connection is only 30 minutes free. Anyway, I would choose... More

I have been using this travelogue for a number of weeks whilst staying over for business. The staff are always very helpful and courteous. However my visit this week was not so good. It took 3 room changes to get a room near the standard and even that one smelt of cigarette smoke and had a sock from a previous... More

It's got a free car park above the car dealership...the entrance is the one on the left not the right. The chap on reception was friendly and the check in was easy. The room...the tv had be turned to hdmi input and when I got it on to the tv channels the signal was absolutely atrocious and it made it... More

A good value hotel within easy reach by overground train of the city centre. Rooms are a decent size, and the bathroom is good. Only draw back is the complete absence of a drawer unit or bedside unit, meaning books. laptops etc left on floor!

Stayed one night with family to attend funeral the next morning. Proximity to the crematorium was the major factor. Hotel is part of a converted office block. Car park look enormous but number of spaces allocated to the hotel was small. We were warmly welcomed by Alanah. Room on floor 8 at the front with a stupendous view over the... More
