Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, everything from the staff, service, room and food were of a fantastic standard. Just a short walk from regents park, enjoy the grounds or visit London Zoo. Close to Camden for a trip to the market. A nice high street with great cafés, bistros and shops. Qpark close by at reasonable rates. Would definitely go... More

The atmosphere in the Pub is good. The food was nice. The area is very nice and not so far from City Center However, talking about the accommodation, not sure we should recommend it. First of all, the service wasn't good. The girl wasn't friendly. In addition, we booked a 2 nights stays but we had to change room after... More

I booked in here for one night and they insisted on payment in advance when I arrived. When I went to the room I saw why - they had given me a small room above the kitchens and it stank of food cooking. I could not open the window as this made the problem even worse. It was not cheap,... More

Myself and two colleagues visited to grab a few beers during the recent Test Match at Lords. Although they did have a bar it was quite clear that the main activity was dining. It also became clear to us that drinkers were a sideline and that staff were mainly there to pander to the requirements of the posher local clientele... More

We were excited to try this pub for Sunday lunch and had high hopes. The menu is very diverse - maybe too much so - there are pizzas and burgers and Spanish tapas and traditional Sunday lunch fare. One of our party's meal was missed off the order and turned up when the rest of us were almost finished. The... More

Over priced for the room. Food was terrible and expensive.. Not clean anywhere. Dogs were sweet but not what they did. We were very disappointed and couldn't wait to leave. We would have left but were asked for payment the minute we got through the door.It could be so much more.

A very disappointing review! We have never been commented on for being dirty and standards are always high. This customer seems to have a problem with paying £85 a night in London! It's not York !! More

Visited here on the back of a TravelZoo voucher, expecting the same old, same old. What a great surprise, welcoming owner as soon as we walked in, great beers on tap (approval from my father is testimony to this) and the food was all freshly cooked and enormous portions, remember this is using a voucher too! Our favourite part...pub dogs,... More

The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was comfy with everything we needed and more. We had dinner and breakfast there, both of which were great. It's in a really good location, quiet but easy to get to the centre. The dogs were sweet too and caused no problems, in fact we prefer dogs in pubs, they tend... More

Food is great, very comfortable and inviting. Sitting on the soft leather couches with a pint of Guinness and two sweet puppies was exactly what I wanted after long flight from the states. This place felt like I'd been there millions of times before from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend this pub for anyone in search of... More

Great service and food but this was unfortunately spoiled by pestering dogs running under our table and very noisy football crowd and TV's. Real shame as the staff were excellent but not as descibed on the Internet.

Once again sorry it wasn't what you hoped for but as we repeatedly say Here on tripadvisor, we aim to be a dog friendly pub offering good food, relaxed accommodation, friendly staff, puppy dogs and so on. There are few places in this city where you have the freedom to bring your dog. Hopefully this is crystal clear now! More
