Perfect overnight stay, basic amenities but good wifi in the room, clean and also friendly helpful staff. If you want luxury go elsewhere but this is a great location, great breakfast and I will go back when I next go to London. PS not all budget hotels are a let down - this one was perfect for me

I do not use the words "bed bugs" lightly in a hotel review because it can really kill business but that was my experience here and worse. My room appeared basic but clean when I went in. I thought, given the price and location it seemed like a good thing. I've had bed bugs before while in Cyrus so I... More

Great restaurant across the street. Access is EASY to theater, dinning, coffee shops, wine bars. Central location and easy, enjoyable walking to all you wish. But, if not knowledgeable of London .... sticker shock on the nightly rate!

Friendly reception and excellent location. For this price (£110 for the room, 1 occupant), I would expect something much better. Microscopic room without toilet, tiny sink, pathetically poor lighting (I didn't know that you could get lightbulbs so dim) micro shower, adequate if scruffy towels. Not particularly clean, decrepit furniture, broken handles, tiny tv on broken stand, everything shabby and... More

House of horrors....Scariest looking dirty sheets on a bed I've ever seen! If you have no other choice in the world still don't go to this hotel if you are in Covent Garden..... Sorry but for the price you pay for this dump your better off sleeping outside! Man a front desk was clean.

This no frills B&B is in an excellent location for theatres, museums, and shops of central London. It is easy to find and has 24 hour reception. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is no lift and the stairs are uneven and windy. This wasn't a problem for us but could be an issue if you have a lot of... More

After scouting so many affordable hotels near Covent Garden, I finally decided to book with Seven Dials. I would be bringing my 15 & 10 yr old daughters to London (and Europe) for the 1st time, so I wanted them to get the feel of "London-city-life". What made me decide on this hotel were the reviews I read in TripAdvisor.... More

Booked via specialist website this budget hotel. Room was filthy with discarded food bags and cups and the floor was sticky!!! Complained to the staff who were totally unsympathetic. Have stayed throughout the World and regularly stay in London with my job. Totally the worst stay of my life. So if you are considering this hotel I would pass on... More

This hotel is literally minutes away from main attractions and has a 24 hour desk with really pleasant staff, especially Hannah. I had previously emailed and said I had mobility difficulties so was given a room under the stairs...which I was dreading after reading some previous reviews. It was just lovely. Very quiet considering where we were. Yes, we could... More

Staying in Covent Garden

Neighborhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
