Shabby Chic, more shabby than chic. Carpets stained and not vacuumed in our room or stairs when we arrived and the same when we left three days later. Same price for our room as other 1st Floor room, except we were told on arrival that "we don't usually let this room, so we've made some space for you in a... More

We were startled and rather devastated by this review as these guests (a party of four from Norfolk) were absolutely charming and we had a lot of fun with them. Tim who does the breakfasts was assured that "they had been delicious" at the time, and there was a lot of common ground for discussion. Much of our bed linen... More

My friend and I stayed at Fox Hill in July. What a find, and such a difference from bland chain accommodation. The house itself is beyond charming, and in a leafy quiet part of Crystal Palace, but near to good restaurants, pubs and cafes. Sue and Tim couldn't of been more welcoming, and the breakfast was fab. Great place to... More

Our family had a wonderful stay at Fox Hill B&B . After a long journey it was lovely to be welcomed by Tim and Susan and a most welcome cup of tea. It was a special weekend for us as a family as our eldest daughter was getting married in Dulwich and Susan and Tim ( and Tula and Boris,... More

I love this B&B, as soon as you arrive you can RELAX! House is lovely, Sue and Tim are charming and do everything to assist the visitor to London. Beautiful quilts made by Sue who is a textile artist, but also the sheets and pillows are so wonderful high quality - you sleep like an angel in the clouds. And... More

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sue and Tim's lovely B&B in Crystal Palace. It's very much a home away from home and the couple are so very welcoming and their pets are adorable. I took to Sue and Tim instantly. Tim's bacon and egg breakfast is a must and I miss it already. I also love all the great... More

Within walking distance of the “village” that is Crystal Palace, with its charming array of markets, independent shops, pubs, cafes and many eateries, nestles (on a fairly steep hill) the lovely home of Sue and Tim. From the outside it’s just another home. However the door opened with a warm and gentle greeting of “take your bags up and I’ll... More

So often we have stayed here and been so well looked after that when Aussie friends have asked for a recommendation, we have had no hesitation in suggesting Fox Hill. We said if you are tired of hotels, then this is the place for you. Every one has applauded our choice. It really is a home from home and when... More

When the noise and the pace of central London became too much, Fox Hill was a restorative weekend break for us. A comfy bed, colorful handmade textiles all around, a fishpond and an informal garden in bloom at the back– I felt immediately at home and felt my body start to relax. We loved sitting by the kitchen window watching... More

If we could we would move in! We always receive the warmest of welcomes from Sue, Tim and the two adorable dachshounds. As you cross the threshold, the house envelops you with warmth, comfort and nurture. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and clean with Sue's glorious handmade quilts draped over either the beds or hanging on the walls. Your every... More

We've been visiting Fox Hill the fourth time now. It's such an lovely house and garden. Sue and Tim with their little dachshounds create such a welcoming atmosphere that you actually feel being "at home". The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the underground is nearby in walking distance. A great place to stay when visiting London. Klaus and Martina... More
