We stayed here for 2 nights in March. What a find! It hits all the right notes for comfort, quiet, good cooking and a warm welcome. However, the best bit is the house itself which is full of the most glorious arts and crafts. We could have moved into Sue's colourful kitchen on a permanent basis and were sorry to... More

Tim & Sue welcomed us warmly into their home, situated in a quiet street only 15 minutes from a tube station .It is an oasis of Sue's textiles and quirky objects d'art, where breakfast is enjoyed round their kitchen table, watching Tim cook! The large bedroom afforded us a huge, comfortable bed, cocooned in colourful duvets and quilts, clean, creased sheets.... More

My recent solo trip to London was made all the better by the warm hospitality from Sue & Tim, right from the communication throughout the booking process, to the reception on arriving earlier than anticipated, to a cup of tea on arrival, a comfy bed and delightful breakfast and heartfelt conversation...and even a very unexpected lift to my event the... The loveliest B&B I know. The house covered in the most beautiful textiles and furnishings, a feast for the eye, but completely comfortable with delicious food served with grace and wit. The garden a tiny world of wonder. An inspiration for living.

Everything you read about this bed and breakfast is mostly correct . The biggest disappointment however. is the dirty state of the house . I couldn't wait to leave . I do not expect to pay £ 90 for a room with filthy carpets dead insects on window ledge pictures and lampshade thick with dust and broken furniture . The... More

We were very sorry to read of these guests' disappointment with their room, but pleased to see that they enjoyed their comfortable bed. We were experiencing an hiatus with our cleaner at the time but should have checked that all was spotless before arrival. We always hope that if any thing is wrong, our visitors will be able to bring... More

We stayed at Sue and Tim's B&B for 2 nights and it has been an absolutely lovely experience. The house is big, and the guest room we were given had an en-suite bathroom. As we are not from UK we found it so so so english! Everything from the sink tab to the decoration, the colours match, the furniture in... More

As a family of four, with 2 teenage daughters, we required a bed for the night, close enough to attend my goddaughter's 18th birthday party. We got so much more than we bargained for ... in a good way! Upon arrival, after a 4 hour journey from the West Country, we were warmly welcomed by Sue, Tim and members of... More

I'm a 21 year old Swedish student and I stayed at Fox Hill B&B during a month for work experience in London. It was lovely staying with Sue and Tim and their wonderful dogs and cats, which all are very friendly and always happy to see you. Tim makes the best breakfast and bacon and eggs I've ever eaten. Sue... More

Stayed at Fox Hill for the second time 7 years after our first visit. This time there were four of us instead of two, but nothing else had changed. A superb warm welcome, comfortable rooms, a beautiful house and possibly the best breakfast south of the river. Lots of animals to entertain the kids (dogs, cats and fish), and don't... More

Last went there 2 years ago: warm welcome, bouncy dogs, bouncy couple in charge (Sue and Tim, the excellent breakfast cook!) Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, loads of hot water and the whole house delightfully warm on a cold weekend. A smart area from which to explore London or the locality, and good value.
