I took a room at the Belgravia Hotel In June - full of trepidation due to reviews saying the hotel was dirty however I found the hotel was very clean, I had paid in advance so there were no problems, yes everything was very basic and worn, and no decoration since the 1930's probably. The staff were fine. I did... More

Right, so we picked this room as it was cheap and we thought well for £60 a night it must be bare minimum; which was what we expected but no I wouldn't let a dog sleep here! Firstly, if you want baby sitting book your room here, the front doors are all locked and every time you want to go... More

Where to start? We arrived with two heavy suitcases to be told we had to draw over £200 out of the cash machine across the road because the card machine didn't work. We were not given any assistance to carry our bags (bearing in mind, we are a young couple). We were dragged downstairs into their messy, unorganised office to... More

There is absolutely nothing good about this place apart from the location. This is not a hotel by any means, they don't even have a reception! The room was filthy and shabby, with stains on the sheets. Bathroom was tiny and dirty, honestly going without a shower was more appealing. The TV didn't work at all. I don not recommend this place... Me and my family arrived on Saturday afternoon to be greeted (just some guy opening the door, no hello or welcome!) by some guy in shorts and a t-shirt. At first I thought we arrived at someone's house by accident and accidentally woke them up, but as it turns out, this was the place. We then followed him down to... More

I do not know where to start, me and my boyfriend arrived at the belgravia late last night we were greeted unfriendly by a strange man to then betaken down to a basement which was where the reception was.. He demanded that we pay up front to where I had to go over to natwest to draw out money immediately... More

Positives - good location, nice staff, cheap breakfast on offer Negatives - extremely small room, horrible damp smell in the room, old and run down furniture. Bearable for a night or two if you need somewhere cheap, but I would not stay here again.

For the price paid, it was really bad room and the service. I would say its more like a 5sqm room with bathroom inside it. Its really dirty place. Very unhygenic conditions. Curtains were smaller than the window so outsider could look into the room and outside light could come into the room. Windows were open at the edges, this... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
