The rooms are small but this is London. The bed was really comfortable although the the aircon was quite noisy. It didnt affect my sleeping though, like a baby! I liked that hair conditioner was in the bathroom, quite often there isnt! The view from the room was lovely! Staff were friendly.

A retrospective review over my time in August 2014, staying here for a few days for a Conference. The hotel is quite close to Farringdon station. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodated our group of about 10. The food was great and if you are staying, I would recommend checking out the Townhouse. I only managed to... I adore the Zetter Town House cocktail bar. The bar itself is relaxed despite the top end service and drinks, and it's not as expensive as the poncy rooftop bars around town. It's just lovely, full of curious mismatching furniture and ornaments, and a really cool treasure trove of a coffee table. Have the Second Husband.

This place is a gem. It is tucked into a little square, the zetter hotel being opposite the zetter townhouse with it's very sophisticated cocktail bar with the feel of a gentlemans club. The staff are fabulous in both establishments. The zetter hotel make you feel special and look after you from the moment you book. It is a pleasant... More

This place is quirky, stylish and fun. The staff were all welcoming and friendly and we were thrilled to be upgraded to a room with a small balcony, especially as the sun was shining! The room had a lovely feel to it, comfortable bed, coffee machine, water and ice, good magazines, REM toiletries, cool furniture, a Rob Ryan print as... More

We had the great pleasure of staying in a Rooftop Deluxe Suite of the Zetter Hotel. Cocooned in an exceptionally clever and well-designed contemporary space on the topmost floor. It had all the comforts you could dream of; king-size bed, lovely selection of REN amenities, fluffy gowns, the best treats and stocked mini bar fridge and my favourite, a great... More

Great hotel, good location, close to the tube. Super friendly staff make everything seem so simple, nothing is any trouble. Rooms are great, free wifi which is good. Free coffee machine on every floor. Nice restaurant. Robes and smellies are great. Fav hotel in London. We'll be back for sure.

We spent 6 nights here. It's a small hotel, with just 5 floors of rooms and the top floor is reserved for more luxurious rooms with balconies which we didn't require. Our room had a good size bathroom with a good shower [note: the water is exceedingly hard]. The bed was a double rather than a queen but that was... More

5 Minutes walking from Farringdon station along a beautiful square is this great hotel. As mentioned in earlier reviews, indeed the welcome is thoughtful and for the whole stay the total staff is sympathetic, well trained and very helpful. The rooms next to the lift and coffeemachine are not the best option. Windows are noise proof if you close them.... More

The location is a bit off the beaten path for tourists, although a tube station is only a short walk away. But if being close to the tourist spots doesn't matter, this is a wonderful hotel. Good design features, a helpful staff, good restaurant, great bar, and a neighborhood that has anything one could want within a few blocks. I'll... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
