My wife and I wanted somewhere special for our first night alone in over 5 years & we were lucky to choose this hotel. Charming staff, lovely room, one of the best breakfasts I've had in years... Attention to design is particularly striking, even down to the water bottle in the wardrobe! Great location too, particularly if you like walking... More

It's really a great adress. The staff is very nice, the rooms are spotless and the location ideal. Breakfast is delicious, particularly the bread and fresh juice. There's a very affordable asian restaurant close to it and lots of great pubs.

I was treated by work as part of as part of an anniversary celebration weekend to visit London with dinner on Tower Bridge as we stayed at the Zetter. What can I say, the room was small but for London acceptable and certainly a very high standard and luxurious. The room I'd describe as a studio in terms of a... More

The staff could not have been more obliging. Nothing was to much trouble. The room was lovely. It had its own verandah with viws over London. The food at Bruno's bistro was excellent. Try the cocktail bar at the Zetter Townhouse. Brilliant. Only drawback is lack of parking. Or no parking. But a few hundred yards away is a NCP... More

I've stayed at The Zetter twice recently and will be returning very soon. From the moment you arrive the service is personal and attentive, and the rooms are stylish and individual rather then the usual London hotel chain. I loved the small touches such as the Clerkenwell fresh water bottles, the REN toiletries, the ZZZZ branding including the hot water... More

We stayed for just one night on the most beautiful fifth floor which had a wonderful room with a balcony and wonderful views over the city. We were welcomed with friendly and helpful staff who advised our room was ready for us which was a welcome surprise at 12pm as we had thought we would have to put our luggage... More

stayed at the zetter for 4 Nights on business. Unusual, slightly quirky hotel design with excellent friendly staff and great food and drinks. The best bed I have ever slept in with sumptuous pillows. This part of London feels central and is quiet! You can walk to start Paul's along old London streets and it feels personal not touristy

What a surprisingly delightful hotel - stylish, friendly and slightly quirky. I had what will I suspect be the first of many visits to this great hotel. Front desk staff very helpful. Room sunny, comfortable, well lit and quiet. Excellent Ren products. Comfy bed. The restaurant was very good value for money and utterly delicious- service( Sarah) was super informative,... More

The Zetter is in a quiet and interesting part of central London. It's within walking distance of a number of museums & galleries and St. Pancras station. Both the décor and the rooms are modern and the rooms are very clean and comfortable also. The staff is warm and friendly too.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
