I liked the retro-modern style and restaurant on the premises was great! Nice touches like spring water from under the hotel in rooms, espresso machine on the floor and terry robes. Very helpful staff too, good wi-fi and desk. My window opened over a restaurant-pub in rear so might want to face front or end if you go to bed... More

The Zetter Hotel is a gem in the City of London. Convenient to everything from Covent Garden to the Old Bailey to the Tower. Hip, well-appointed, and served by a fantastic front-desk staff and the best concierge anywhere. Highly recommended.

The hotel was nice and it was clean! It was a tad strange-- there was an orange long shag carpet and very retro decor. It's fine if that's what they are going for, but it didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel. Either way, it was clean and had a little bar area, and the staff were very... More

We all know that working in London can be a chore with the traffic and the commutes. We were in a trip to London for a brief business meeting and this hotel provided everything we required for a short stay as well as the right sort of space to work and relax. Rooms are a good size and staff are... More

We stayed in a roof top deluxe room which was perfect considering the super hot weather. Large patio with dining area, sunloungers and olivetrees. We ended up cancelling our dinner reservations one evening, instead we ordered room-service and enjoyed the panoramic city views. The room was lovely with many nice touches such as coffee machine, water bottles, magazines and books.... More

The Zetter is the best hotel in London, and I hope exactly enough of you discover it to help their business thrive but not so many as to make it more difficult for us to get rooms there. Best combination of style, comfort, service, and location. In fact, there's really nothing else to compare to it in its price range.

My experience was fantastic - from check-in to check-out. I was concerned initially given the "hip" nature of the hotel--would it work for me for business and comfort? It was excellent. Knowledgeable, amicable, professional, and efficient staff may my stay a pleasure--for both my time there for business and my added personal time at The Zetter. No lack of things... More

Super hotel with modern and tastefully decorated rooms. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Close proximity to the London Underground and great restaurants (the hotel restaurant also serves super food if you don't want to leave the hotel).

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
