Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the Imperial College Accommodation. It is located in the very central and it takes ~5-10mins walk to the underground station/tube, which is great. Also there are a few museums almost just outside the accommodation. The room wasn't big nor was it cramped but was clean and tidy. The en-suite shower wasn't that great... More

Good points: Location very good. South Kensington tube station close by. The rooms are literally up the road from the main museums. Room clean. Fresh towels. Excellent choice at breakfast. Staff helpful and polite. Not so good points: Lift out of order. Room small and only 1 bed for my daughter and I. Bed quite lumpy. No hair dryer. Shower... More

This accommodation is unbeatable on price and location.Minutes from museums,Albert Hall and South Ken.tube.It's not a hotel, the clue is in the name, you're staying in Halls of Residence. Modern, clean compact rooms with en suite and tea coffee making facility.Breakfast is over the road in the main college building,a few minutes walk away. The down side - breakfast is a zoo. You're... This place is just brilliant if you are going to the Proms concerts at the Albert Hall. It's only about a 5 minute walk door-to-door and so you miss all the hassle of the throngs travelling by tube. Check-in was easy - we didn't have to queue at about 3:15pm. Our room had large (rather hard) twin beds and a... More

Very nice place to stay in summer. It is located basically right behind the natural history museum and the albert & vicoria museum. To the other side the royal albert hall and hyde park are not even a 5 minute walk away. I stayed there on a very hot weekend (35°) but the room was ok even without aircondition. You... More

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights. It's quite close to South Kensington tube station (about a 7min walk). Check in opens at exactly 2pm so there is no use in going really early unless you want to drop your bags off. Line up 5 or 10 mins early to checkin or you will be waiting in the... More

We like to stay at different venues not your normal hotel. So we saw that you could stay at the Imperial College Student Accommodation during the summer. We booked for 3 nights including breakfast. The room was about the size of a basic hotel room perfectly adequate, bed was comfortable, tea and coffee available and a shower on suite which... More

Wonderful location and very good breakfast with friendly staff. South Kensington Tube station very close and the bike hire station (Boris Bikes) about 100 meters away. Bedroom small but quiet. The only downside was Wi-Fi was an extra £5.00 although there were a few computers in reception that were free to use. The student (Eastside) bar in Princes Garden is... More

Stayed here with a large group and we were really delighted with the beautiful location and close proximity to the tube. The rooms are extremely clean and the bathrooms are very good with lovely showers, and good quality towels as was the bed linen. Check-in staff are very friendly and everything was very well laid out. Also a very inviting... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
