We stayed in Beit Hall. What a fantastic position to stay in London, in the truly wonderful area of South Kensington. Situated right next to the Royal Albert Hall. The room was very clean, quite large and serviced daily. Check in was easy and you could leave your luggage there securely, if needed. Breakfast, continental style, was served in the... More

This year I stayed at Beit Hall for the second time but have also stayed at Prince's Garden as they are ideal if going to the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. One of the most important factors is that you can leave your luggage safely before checking in and after as well so you can make the most of... More

Third time of staying in this accommodation.....Prince's Garden.... and yet again superb. Check in is not that quick because of the number of people booking in but even so the students who run reception handle every request as quickly and politely as possible. Do not expect luxury rooms.....this is student halls....but all rooms have ensuite, fan and bottled water.....something not... More

I've spend 3 nights on summer 2014 at imperial college accommodation. You stay in the students rooms, very clean, with individual bathroom. The breakfast is included with great choice, english breakfast or continental breakfast. The location is perfect to explore London, near the subway station....And near the center of London.

The uni is about 3 minute walk to a tube station so getting around is simple. The natural history museum and various others are just around the corner also. The room was really clean and nicely set out only complaint would be no tv but it is a uni room after all. Breakfast was lovely and for the price with... More

The location can't be beaten! Close to the central Tubes, Covent Garden, Leicester square etc. Not the comfiest bed I ever slept on, but I did sleep so that's OK. The included breakfast was enough to last us the day and they didn't mind if you grabbed a second coffee. They're sticklers for time though and there's no getting breakfast... More

I don't think you can find a better location for this price. The rooms are small, but clean and adequate. Small en-suite and no noise! It is a great, yet short walk to the South Kensington tube station. I loved walking along the museum street each day. Facilities are basic, but for 5 GBP I had good wi-fi for the... More

You book at a main reception but I was then directed to a souless block on the far side of Princes Gardens where my room was. The card I was given opened all the doors but I did not see another person the whole time I was there. I was OK with this but older people alone many find crossing... More

I have stayed here before as its good location. Tube just 10 mins away. Right beside museums, Albert Hall and Hyde park. It's student rooms so very basic but they are fine if all you want is a bed. No TV in rooms or Internet access. You walk 5 mins to canteen for breakfast which is a big student cafeteria.... More

This is an area of London I visit regularly and to find budget accommodation for this price was great. To give a comparison, in the past I used a '5 Star' hotel about a mile away and their 'single room' was like a closet looking out on a rubbish dump - here I got a beautiful view from a sensibly-sized,... Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
