So the College is closed and the students away. What do they do to make some money? Rent the student accommodation as kind of budget hotel rooms. Small double bed. Shower room. Kettle, tea & coffee. Refectory breakfast included. £83 a night. Right in South Kensington between the V&A museum and the Natural History museum. Frankly cannot fault it. Well... More

It ain't the Four Seasons, but it is ideally situated in SW7, has modern, clean and spacious rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Who then wants to fork out a large pile of cash for the FS ? We stayed in Falmouth Hall on the south side of Prince's Gardens for three nights. Our room was actually designed for wheelchair... More

OK, so it's student accommodation but I have stayed in less accommodating double rooms in conventional hotels. There's plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, a large desk and comfortable office chair plus an armchair, all essential for our six night stay. There's a comfortable double bed and a clean, but bathless, en-suite which has a perfectly adequate shower cubicle. Add... More

I spent one night at imperial college. With 48 pounds it was the best value for money I have ever had. Clean, quiet room with shower and excellent internet. You have to walk toa different building for breakfast, but that is normal for a university dorm. Staff is very friendly and everything is well organized. I wish I could have... More

I've stayed twice at Imperial College. Once in the single room with bathroom and the second in the individual room with shared bathroom. The first experience was better than the second: - Theres 2 Wilkinson Halls, and the woman at the reception kept sending me to the wrong building, so I couldn't find my room. It took me an hour... Stayed here for a weekend break in London, chose it because of the price and the location. Was extremely impressed, the staff were very helpful, with a cheerful welcome. The room is small as you'd expect for student accommodation, but lots of storage space and very clean. Nice bathroom with a good shower, even tea and coffee kit and a... More

Great room which was very clean, we stayed in a basement room but still was very bright and airy. Only negatives was the bed was rather hard, shower not that powerful and no television. However I would stay there again as it has a brilliant location, great breakfast and clean with toiletries and coffee and tea making facilities. I would... More

My other half booked a night here for our trip to London, at first I was put off and said 'you booked student accommodation!' but it turned out much better than I thought. The location was excellent, round the corner from the science museum, natural history and v&a museum. South Kensington is the nearest tube stop which was great. Room... More

I have stayed at 2 of the colleges Southside Halls and Beit Hall, the 2 are only a mateer og half a mile apart and are in a prime location for tourists as the Royal Albery Hall, The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum, The V&A and Hyde Park are literally on the door step. I usually pay in the... More
