I booked this hotel before reading the reviews on this site, so to say I was worried about it is an understatement. This was the first time I'd ever booked into a hotel by myself so I was understandably nervous, which was not helped when I tried to check my booking on the Travelodge website only to discover that there... This hotel is only 5mins away from Kings Cross and all the buses so made a great base for our days sightseeing. Family room a bit cramped. The window had a draught from it which you felt on you kneck when you sat watching the tv on the sofa bed. The room was really cold and we had to keep... More

This is the second time I've stayed at the London Kings Cross Travelodge and I'm reviewing it again as I would hate for people to miss out on the opportunity to stay here by basing their decision on the bad reviews below! When I first stayed here last year, I was dubious to say the least, but I took a... More

You get what you pay for. £59 a night for a small but tidy room. Unfortunately very noisy due to tube line being right outside, although it quitened down after about 1am. Be aware that the cafe-bar closes at 11pm during the week. We turned up at 11pm and the door was locked! Only very expensive bottled lager. Great breakfasts... More

I stayed here recently with my family- £65 per night for 4 in central London is a good deal. However, I wish I'd read these reviews and taken ear plugs!! The hotel is close to the main KX terminal but locacted directly above a train line for Thamesink- so there were trains outside our window until about midnight, starting again... More

A friend and I were heading to Paris on the Eurostar and decided to stay here for one night before travelling. Having stayed in various Travelodges across the country we decided that we 'could'nt go wrong' with this hotel. At £59 for one night it was affordable. Upon arrival there was a queue at reception and no staff present. We... More

Arrived at 9pm and stayed 1 night as getting an early eurostar. The most depressing and dreary hole I have ever stayed in. Automatic check in and rude bar staff. The bar was characterless and soleless, we had one drink and disappeared to our room. The bathroom was filthy and the rooms and corridors in dire need of decorating. The... More

Nice building, excellent location. Room a good size. Stayed at back of hotel. Overlook old Thames Link station. Train noise is loud, decent double glazing would sort it out. Had to turn tv up to a volume that could disturb other guests to cover noise, ok early evening but not so good a 6 am. But they'd be up at... More
