The hotel is a nice Georgian building, actually several connected. The room was basic but nice. The view of All Saints church was very nice but the window overlooking the entrance and fairly busy road want some noise. The restaurant is nice and the English breakfast buffet is a nice start to a trip to London. The local village has... More

Pleasant helpful staff. Spacious room, quiet, good English breakfast. Excellent location overlooking Blackheath. Parking on site. Village and station only a few minutes walk away. So easy access to Greenwich and central London. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights in a family room. Super helpful reception staff, nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean room, good facilities for the price. Good breakfast included in price, again restaurant staff couldn't have been more helpful. Only criticism was bed a bit soft for us. Will most certainly stay again.

Good location Stayed for 2 nights last week with my wife and given price we paid, was good value for money. Found the hotel to be a well-run established hotel. As we were staying mid-week, found the hotel was mainly used by working people both white and blue collared. Staff friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Plenty of room to... More

First the good....... Friendly, helpful staff who provided very good service. Our room was quite good value and the hotel location is excellent! Breakfast good with a good choice of items to chose from. Reliable wi-fi service. But......... Hot water unreliable and bath extremely small. Main problem however was with the parking. I have no problem with the parking being... More

Stayed at the Clarendon for one night on a visit to London. Location is absolutely fantastic. Overlooking Blackheath and view toward Greenwich Park. Wow. Hotel is a little dated and in need of a make over. Seems to be popular with coach holiday companies. Breakfast buffet was extensive but a little uninspiring. Good for what we needed but wouldn't rush... More

Dear Blade61 Thank you for your review, the hotel does have the odd coach company visit us, but it is by far, a very small part of our business (5%) we are generally used for corporate and leisure. We are constantly refurbishing, and will continue to finish the current programme. More

My sister and I took our Mother to the restaurant for lunch today. It is her 90th birthday and after a weekend of celebrations we wanted to round it off with a nice lunch. The whole experience was excellent, the food, drinks, ambience and staff. Both Susan and Freda could not have been more helpful and caring. I will be... More

We stayed here for 1 saturday night recently. We managed to find a free parking spot in the hotel car park that we were able to use before we checked in later in the afternoon. The hotel is old fashioned but comfortable. It is a lovely Georgian building with a very tidy and sun catching rear garden. It overlooks Blackheath... More

Booked in with my friends for a girls weekend to see a show. Location is lovely, fronting onto Blackheath Common. A short walk then into Greenwich.
