Arrived to find we had a bigger room than we were expecting which was a nice surprise. Service was excellent and parking easy on the sunday evening. Staff are proffessional and polite, particularly the breakfast staff who were not flustered by anything (particularly the italian head waiter - brilliant). Drinks in the bar were excellent, Well stocked and large enough... More

We stayed at the Clarendon last night as we were in Blackheath for a friends wedding. The Clarendon is well located over looking the heath, with the shops, railway station etc. in walking distance. Parking can be a little tight and theres no guarantee of a space as parking is limited, but there are other places to park nearby. The... More

Very helpful staff, nice spacious room (252), nice bathroom. Very close to train station and nice view from room. The only negative comment I would make would be the breakfast options are a little limited, but not a big deal. More

We stayed here for the second time on business. Managed to park on the car park at the front of the hotel. The check in was very efficient and contrary to some other reviews, welcoming. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the Heath and the road, again to put things in perspective, this s a London hotel... More

Stayed for the last 2 nights on business, and i was quite impressed, When im in Greenwich i usually stay in the premier inn (you know what your getting, pretty bland). But this week was booked so this was my alternative, The hotel is a Georgian set of 4 or 5 knocked through houses as a facade and the majority... More

My husband and I spent the weekend at the Clarendon Hotel as it was Mother's Day in the UK and we wanted a bit of a break from home. The hotel was not very busy so we were given a bigger room, in a very quiet area of the building. We have a toddler, who had his own large bed... More

It calls itself "The Finest Georgian Hotel in South East London". I don't know what the competition is. The facade is Georgian but there is no detectable Georgian influence on the interior. We have stayed here twice within a few weeks, for 4 nights and 2 nights respectively. Although reception staff were unwelcoming the first evening we found the staff... More

I stayed fro two nights at this hotel and would recommend it for good food, friendly service and cleanliness. I have had to mark it down as it is a bit dated NOT shabby but has an 80's feel to it i'm afraid. Don't ;let this put you off as its a good base for london visits More

First time at this hotel with husband and 2 grown up sons. The staff are very friendly and efficient but the hotel and rooms are tired and old fashioned. Our room was tiny and on the front which meant it was noisy, especially when coach loads arrived late. The sheets were clean but hard and there was 1 bobbly, synthetic... More
