Stayed 1 night last week with my daughter who was on business in Blackheath so I had to entertain myself for a full day. I had a really lovely day in Greenwich park as it is only a 15 minute walk to the Observatory from the hotel! The hotel has car parking front and rear but does get really busy.... More

We stayed in this hotel for a family wedding last weekend and cannot commend it high enough. From arrival until we left all the staff were very helpful with the highest service levels and really seemed to want to make our stay as pleasurable as possible, even finding a fridge for me to keep my insulin medicine in. We ate... More

Dear Steverovers, thank you for your review. A lot of people use the hotel for visiting West End Shows, as we are just 20 minutes away, and generally offer better value than Central London. I am so pleased we were able to make your stay enjoyable and your visit to London pleasant. More

Great location right on the Blackheath park and 50m from Blackheath village and its restaurants. Reasonably priced for a London hotel, we had a crown room which was ample and well furnished, clean and quiet. The hotel has a classic english city feel, comfy but not ornate. Breakfasts were self service, plenty of choice, rear garden very sunny and good... More

I am a disabled single lady, travelling alone. My stay at this hotel was simply perect. The staff a warm, happy and welcoming from the minute you arrive until the minute you leave. Check in was quick and easy - Ample Parking. We arrived Friday 10th till Sunday 12th April. Nice hotel - very large so finding rooms was a bit hard at first. Breakfast was buffet style but you could also have hot food like Kippers and poached eggs delivered to your table - a lot of choice to be honest. Rooms... More

We stayed 4 days at this hotel. Polite staff and very helpful. We didnt like the room we got as it was smaller than we anticipated, closer to the busy corridor and had no view; the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable by giving us a better room, a suite! The suite was huge, chic interior, had... More

As the title says. It's not the greatest place I stayed, but I can't complain about it as the price we had it for was very good, and for one night we were happy. The room was clean, the breakfast was very nice, a nice bar for a beer and it's a very short walk from Greenwich village.

I will start with a positive. They let us check in early which helped considerably. Now the negatives. The check in process and explanation of the complicated key procedure was silly. The rooms are small and the bathroom is even smaller. I am 5'11 and I couldn't stand up straight under the shower. I heard every conversation from the guy... More

Dear dai-band08 Thank you for your review, and I am sorry you were disappointed. With regards to check-in, we still use old fashioned key method. We do explain to drop the key of with us when not using it. This is part of tourist boards recommendations, however I am sorry you did not like this. With regards to check out... More

I often stay at the Clarendon, Blackheath. Friendly, helpful staff, nice rooms. Any little niggles are sorted out immediately. 2 minutes from station to central London but lovely village like atmosphere. Nice walks over Greenwich common to Greenwich.
