This was our first visit to Malmaison and we were impressed by the experience. This brief report covers Venue, Ambiance, Food, Staff, and Cost finishing with recommendations. Venue The Hotel and restaurant rsre located in a discreet part of the City Of London. Once we were through the doors we went to the restaurant in the basement. It was well... More

Great location for museum of London on city & Hammersmith tube line. Staff friendly helpful give good recommendations for local restaurants. Rooms clean & tidy booked 2 nights separately & they where able to keep us in the same room. The hotel is tucked away in a sq which give a feeling seclusion

Had a fantastic bargain off Booking.com for this hotel. We had just had a weeks travelling across europe on a train holiday and we were looking for something a bit special to finish the holiday off. Well we found it at Malmaison. Great location, really good rooms and the staff were great. Arrived in our room to find a birthday... More

Wow!! We arrived at the hotel having walked for 9 hours through London at night to raise money for breast cancer. We were exhausted. The reception staff said our room wasn't ready, but took our bags into storage and said to make ourselves comfortable in the lounge area. We headed for breakfast which was wonderful and then fell asleep in... More

Excellent hotel. Highly recommend. Beautiful furnishing. Will definitely stay there again. I stayed with a group of friends. Every bedroom was furnished to an extremely high standard. Cocktails in the bar were wonderful. Staff extremely helpful.

There was no hot water in the morning. For such an expensive hotel that was really a great disappointment. Restaurant and lobby were fine. Location is great. ................................................................................................................................

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and it is always great. Breakfast is always excellent and the rooms are fantastic. Only negative can be it's location at the weekend as it is very quiet round it's location. But it is very easy to.get to the city or the west end from this hotels location.

Purchased a living social deal for brunch. The food and the service was lovely. Wide selection of food. The kids were amazing. Would recommend and will definitely visit again even if I don't get the deal.

Very hip hotel in a lovely quiet square but the parking charge comes as a bit of a shock if you live away from the Capital, £48 for a two night stay. The room was around the back and opposite a ventilation shaft so opening the window was not an option at night. There is also work taking place in... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
