We stayed in a family room that had a double bed and two single beds. The beds were comfy and good sized. I liked how they used the space in the room to create an en-suite. The en-suite was very clean and modern with a good shower. The hotel itself is in a convenient location, just across the road from... More

The hotel has undergo a big round of renovation and stuff looks relatively new. Bed is comfortable, room size is decent for relatively low price that we paid. Hotel is 24hrs guarded by the owner, however, it is kinda strange that we need to surrender our keys to the counter everytime we leave the hotel. Shared bathroom location is a... More

I've stayed in a wide range of cheap (by London standards!) hotels. I was pleasantly surprised by the Princess. Our family room (a double and two single beds) was comfortable, with an en-suite shower, and was so recently redecorated that we could still smell fresh paint! (A good sign, given the quality of some places.) Breakfast wasn't included, but there... More

The second time I've stayed at Princess Hotel, and was just as good as the first time. A genuine less than 5 minute walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station, it is extremely well priced and very friendly. I was in room 17, small but had everything I needed. It was warm, clean, quiet and convenient - exactly why I've... More

Stayed in room 4a. The bed was comfy and clean. No ensuite - had to get dressed and walk the hallway. I paid £110 for the night, which I feel was expensive for what I got. Man on reception was very polite and friendly. Would stay again if it was cheaper / I was working in the area.

stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in December. Great location, situated near a station connected to almost all routes within central london, and also for internation trains and national railway (inc. Luton airport). good comfortable room, although a little bit too small for 4 persons. There was almost no room for all our luggages. Great wifi service, and friendly... More

Although well located for the budget traveler, the hotel management is very poor in dealing with problems (which were numerous!) I stayed in August (2014), and the beds were not comfortable, especially the twins with NO support the first night. Finally moved the last 3 nights, but bed now very hard, and then had to deal NO HOT WATER for... More

Very well located, close to two major underground stations in a street with several other hotels. We were in a family room (4 beds) and it fit us well. It´s an old building, don´t have lifts and getting the luggage up can be hard. The rooms and bathroom could get a renovation, but overall clean and comfrotable. The staff were... More

The hotel is in the best location! Straight across the road from kings cross and about a 10 minute walk from euston station..the hotel was very easy to find. I stayed in a twin room which was very clean and well presented. The view from my window was a shed full of mattresses which was kind of weird but I... More

Stayed here for one night and I will be back in the future. I had some payment issues and the staff was very friendly in dealing with it. The location is excellent and only a 5 minute walk to the tube station or Eurostar terminal. The room I was put in was on the highest floor and I did struggle... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
