Positive: Cheap (48 pounds for basic twin room), good location (very close to King's Cross Station), breakfast included, shared bathroom relatively clean Negative: breakfast was low-quality, tiny room, no AC, room not very clean, the bedding (except for the white sheets) clearly hadn't been washed in a while This place is alright for a few nights, but a whole week... more

We stayed four nights at this hotel, booked three twin ensuite rooms and found out that rooms in the upper floor were better and bigger than those of the lower floors. I stayed in one of the upper rooms, which was fine, but the rooms of my friends downstairs were a little small, with the wash-basin in the own bedroom.... more

I reserved this hotel contacting the property directly. The owner was very kind; He spoke also italian. I guarantee my room with credit card and in terms and conditions I read that every communications about changing and cancel reservation should be done at least 48 hours before date of arrival, or the owner can take from credit card the cost... more

This hotel is in an excellent location, 2 mins from Kings Cross station and underground. The room was basic but very clean with a small en suite, fresh towels were provided daily. There is a nice little pub on the corner opposite, highly recommend the Betjeman Arms up the stairs under the sign for St Pancras (walk to the end of... more

My husband and I and our 5 year old niece have just stayed at the Princess Hotel. We found our large en suite room to be very clean and comfortable with fresh towels each day. The english breakfast was cooked fresh for you on arrival in the breakfast room with cereal, fruit juice, toast etc. We found everyone very friendly... more

A good choice for those who want an affordable safe accommodation near King's Cross. We stayed there in Sept 2006 for 6 nights and felt that we got our money's worth. The room was small but clean and we had a small ensuite. It's not luxury ,but look at the price! Also, how much time are you going to spend in... more

Stayed two nights with my friends at the hotel in July. When arriving, the owner said that he was gonna charge extra 3% for paying by debit card because it's bank's policy. It was a lie. Debit card is compatible with cash. The morning we checket out, I found little cockroaches on the bed. The night after we checked out,... more

I found it hard to get a hotel room in London that our family of 5 could all stay in the one room, so I was delighted with the Princess Hotel. The staff (Bob and his partner) were lovely, we arrived early around 10 a.m. on the saturday morning, our room wasn't ready, but we were able to leave our... more

The Princess Hotel is situated only a few minutes from Kings Cross station, the neighborhood is very safe with a lot of CCTV cameras. Another positive thing was the breakfast, which consisted of the traditional english things, bacon, beans etc. Now to the poor things: Although the neighborhood is very, very quiet and no main road is nearby, it is... more
