Overall, this was a comfortable, clean, nice place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff. The small room with single bed was big enough for me, and it was nice to even have a tv, water heater for tea, and especially a sink in the room! Great location right near King's Cross St. Pancras, and in walking distance to the... More

We stayed here a few weeks ago. We liked that the room was very clean. The wifi speed was very fast and we got a stable connection which is not always the case in a lot of hotels. The bed was quite comfortable. The friendly staff were very helpful when we asked about the surrounding area. The location was ideal... More

Me and my fiancé stayed at the princess hotel for 2 nights a few weeks ago and we couldn't complain for what we paid for it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's close to the station and the underground so it was easy to get around. I'd stay here again for a cheap London break.

We had a 3 bedroom shared bathroom room. Each of us were to pay £35 for the room. For the location in London and the price I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to the reception. The hotel was clean and nice and staff were extremely friendly. Could do with a lick of paint but... More

Stayed here for 1 night. Reservation process very smooth, staff very friendly. But the state of my bathroom was appalling, bordering on unhygienic (damp, cracks and mould on walls... disgusting) see photos.

Often stay in this area for one or two nights on business so my expectations were not high but having read the reviews I thought it sounded really good. It was alright but nothing more. Room was clean and bed comfy but bathroom really tiny; took a while to realise that to get the light on I had to enter... More

Paid £153 for a single room Friday to Monday on Booking.com. The hotel looks freshly decorated and is quite modern. There are shared bathrooms, 2 to a floor but one was out of order for my stay. No lifts so if you can't manage stairs request a ground floor room. Receptionist was vey friendly. Asked to see ID and payment... More

We stayed in a "Basic Room", which was indeed basic. It was also very clean, had a comfortable bed, a television with plenty of channels and adequate space for our luggage. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Just a couple of minutes walk from King's Cross and St. Pancrass stations this is an excellent place for an overnight stay... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room's are small, but when you're in London, you're only there to sleep anyways. There is a shared bathroom which i was not accustomed to, but they kept it very clean. All-in-all, it was a great stay. The staff made it worth it. cute, quaint rooms

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
