There were very few good things about the hotel..it's location as it was a two minute' walk from the tube but at the same time the road was quiet, two guys at the reception as one allowed me to change room on my second day as I felt dizzy going up three floors of dangerously steep stairs with a child... I wanted an inexpensive basic single for several nights, and took a chance on the Princess based on Tripadvisor reviews. Delightful surprise. I've paid a lot more in London, and not been as satisfied. My lower level room was spotless, with a comfortable double bed, desk and chair, dresser and mirror, TV, radiator heat. The window faced an alley, with... More

I ended up staying here by accident after missing my train and for £50 a night, it was a bargain. I did think it looked pretty small and not very "hotel like" and wasn't expecting to wake up in the morning but the beds were comfy, rooms really clean and had free wifi, coffee and nice towels. Not a place... More

We stayed for three nights. The B&B is clean, comfortable (room ,common area and share toilet),free wifi, free breakfast(big breakfast and we can skip our lunch after that) and we have no complaint. The location is very good, very near to King's cross Station. You can basically find all you need in this area or B&B (convenient transportation, shops, post office,... More

If you are from the United States and/or are used to spacious hotel rooms, don't expect that here at the Princess. From what I have been told (it was my first trip to London) this is a pretty typical hotel for this area. The thing is, if you are in London, you're not there for the hotel. Its a place... More

Dear guest, I am always amazed when guests take the time to write a review but not the time to research their facts before writing them. Is it not wonderful that we have Tripadvisor here to allow you to share your ignorance with others just because you are able to do so with no thought whatsoever about how this may... More

Cheap and very convenient. If I'd paid more I would have expected more but good value for money. Choice of breakfasts and times but I did not partake so can't comment on this. Would stay again when looking for cheap place to stay but would stay elsewhere for special occasion

I stayed here recently on an impromptu stopover in London and really enjoyed my stay. The room was small, as described, like most budget places in the UK & Europe but totally adequate. I arrived late and the guy at reception (Sam?) was super lovely (and definitely spoke English.. in fact I am pretty sure from his accent he was... More

Arrived late one night and was sold the last room at £40 (room 19). Liked the room with good basic features but in the early hours there was a constant noise from behind the walls that I assume was the water or boiler system. Loud enough to disturb sleep but it was too late in the night to go and... More

How can you lose your way to get this princess hotel. It was great location nearby King's Cross-St Pancras st and very convenient to go around London cities and go to Paris. I had a single room sharing bath room for three nights. It was inexpensive rate for me and breakfast was fine. There was Burger King 30 sec away... More
